Apparently my mind was made up for me, a friend of mine bought me the game. Went through and added some folks from the thread, I'm "tomroadrunner" on Origin, anyone that I missed can feel more than free to add me.

Implying a lack of intelligence by someone thinking a game is fun despite the issues makes you look like the one that is lacking. The issues may bother you more, and that's fine, you're more than welcome to share your opinion. When you use that opinion to try and artificially elevate yourself, you come off like an ass.

I haven't purchased the game yet, played the beta though. Seemed like the Pacific Rim of videogames. Big, rock-fuckingly stupid, but really really fun. Lots of people are saying the same thing. It's not a masterpiece, and I'm personally unsure of whether I think it's worth $60, but you'd do yourself a service if you avoided swinging your opinion like a mallet instead of simply sharing it.

Just want to highlight this:
When the thread first came out, I thought he was referring to the competitive community. I was like, "well yeah, shit talking is going to happen, whatever". Now I've seen this this guy was talking about a public community.

If you're playing pubs and it isn't a social experience, you're fucking doing it wrong. You're a sad, pathetic little man.

Yeah, the "Lobby All Stars" got a FFW from us using the same method, rejecting the offer right when it would let them claim the win. We laughed and then played a scrim (and probably got our asses kicked) to make up for the lost night.

(clarifying, a scrim against another team that doesn't operate like that)
