Couldn't we just use PQL in Quake Live? Let's get some CTF going!
I'm not against CPMA, but I dunno where my q3 cd is. :[

Ten minutes is kind of long but shortening the timer might promote using a heavy and/or sentry to stall out the timer for a reset. If you take a minute or two off the clock, it won't really change anything at all. If you take five or six minutes off the clock, some teams may never push out.
Wolfenstein (2009) wasn't that good, so hopefully this one is much better.
I don't think any Wolfenstein game will ever match RTCW or ET, though.
If you do quick mouse movements (extremely noticeable for 90 degree or 180 degree movements), it looks WAY smoother and you can see everything perfectly (especially if you're used to 60hz). It just looks really nice.
I've heard conflicting arguments about if it helps relieve eye-strain vs a 60hz monitor, though.
the301stspartanLet me know what you think of the color calibration out of the box. I would be interested to see if there's actually a difference between US-shipped and Euro-shipped panels or bewteeen individual models. For anyone who has problems with the color management on the asus, I MIGHT have my colorimeter in about a week and will post profiles here then. It's like 180€ though, so no promises just now.
I really appreciate it. I'll let you know, just add me on steam. I would add you right now but I'm at work l0l.
FogBest bang for your buck right there, also comes at 144hz instead of the usual 120hz from BenQ monitors
the301stspartanI accidentally deleted my post above and replaced it by a quote with parts from it.Quick summary of my thoughts on the asus:-144hz smooth as asscheeks-alleged color problems not visible at all-most neutral colors out of the box I had with any monitor in a long time-the spyder profile from the dude at ESEA forums are horrible, idk what went wrong. Maybe US panels are calibrated differently?-Once I get my colorimeter I will post results-Here in Germany it is about the same prize as the BenQ, you can get it for cheap so I would definately go for it
Awesome :D I'll order it tonight. Thanks for the input.
So I'm really considering getting this: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/bnh/controller/home?O=&sku=917361&is=REG&A=details&Q=
Am I losing out on something that is more expensive, like the BenQ XL2420T? Not sure if this is something I should go all-out on or not.
I wish Fry's could be on the east coast :[
Conn We really need to create a steam group for this kinda stuff.
Awesome idea. I would play in these regularly, granted I'm not studying or something.

But I don't play much anymore. However, I would love to play in some QL pugs with TF2 players (especially CTF :D).

I only made an account for a prediction in a match, lol. I'll use it more though.

I believe this is how it is right about now, but I can see this changing as the season progresses.
x3i4n@ Fragile :School choices are hard when we are young. It's easy to go in a field of study you wont work in.
That's why I think it's a little silly that we are forced to decide what we want to do with our careers from college for the rest of our lives when we are 17-18 years old.
