Where to begin? Shitposting is an art form many of us take part in, but few of us truly understand. Occasionally we get glimpses of what it means to be a good shitposter, like when i made my give demo a glock thread, or the god tier "my dad thinks he's the heavy" thread. However, these glimpses are just that, and we never really move past that. Most of us move backwards, becoming worse and worse at shitposting until we finally get permabanned, like the late Pankeyman. I want to take a stance, and make sure that the shitposters of tftv become enlightened, and we may enter a golden era of shitposting. I am only here to seek guidance from shiposters past, learn from the best, and to reach enlightenment. Namaste.

if i had a dollar for every time a medic misses a crossbow on me while i'm standing still and i die because i'm standing still like a fucking mong waiting for the med to actually hit me with the crossbow i would have many dollars

the problem with the crossbow is that while using it is pretty fun, as it allows you as a medic to be useful from long distances and help your team out in a way that isn't just being a mobile dispenser that can make people invincible once every 40-50 seconds, it creates so many problems in so many scenarios where players either don't die when they've been outplayed, or don't retreat when they've been spammed out. watching old tf2 matches isn't a good idea anymore if you're trying to learn how to play because in old matches when a player took spam rockets he had to get off high ground to go get healed by the med, which allowed for a soldier bomb or something else to happen. similarly, in old tf2 matches players had to efficiently rotate heals in order to keep the pressure off their med. this skill is now gone because the crossbow heals for so much. my proposed change to the crossbow is for it to heal over time at 24hp/s like the medi gun for like 2-3 seconds, and be affected by crit heals. now, you get the best of both worlds, where the med can still hit fat arrows and feel good about themselves and players not wanting to kill themselves because the person they were 1v1ing randomly gets 100 more hp.

each set was only like 20 minutes long tho. even adding 20 min of setup between sets that only gives like 4.6 hours

im so glad i stayed up for 7 hours for the most underwhelming finish to this season ever. Why couldn't it have ended at the first bo3 with that god tier product match.
