#78 Ban Pred and Degu in Off Topic

People have left and are leaving the community because of the harrassment they receive. Why should they leave, why shouldn't the harrassers leave? ETF2L should definitely care about how their prem players represent their public image, not taking action against this behaviour hurts the scene more than it helps.

gemmnot true. multiplay being taken over by game seems to have slowed things down a bunch too

That might be a factor, but it really does not excuse the treatment Dreamboat and Getawhale have experienced. They deserve a better treatment than this. It really looks like things have been left too late again. Promotional stuff needs to be planned like, right now in order to build hype towards the event. That can be done mostly independently from Multiplay.

The success of this event determines if TF2 will be at insomnia in the future. If there's no promotion, it WILL flop. Last year, the reason given for the lack of promotion was that TF2 was announced too late. This year it was announced super early, but now it's less than a month until the event and there hasn't been much promotion (if any) at all. This can be done independently of Multiplay.

Last year legitimate criticism was deflected with the excuse that they only had two months to plan before the event.

This year they start planning one month before the event.

gemmondkajaGemm's version doesn't seem to be properly compiled and I'm not personally a fan of the filename he used (don't think it can be used officially). Anyway, I compiled the map with a minor bugfix and reverted the cap time of the last points.
what was wrong with the way it was compiled? i checked it on both hdr and ldr, i know it was a few mb smaller than collaide's version for some reason but i didn't intend it to be a proper release, only a quick compile for some people to test with (that's why i didn't name it b6, and people can rename the file if they really wanted)

I didn't really look at your map, I just took your word for it.

#2 Dose anyone still play like "Russian Style"? in Q/A Help

Back in the days the desk space at LAN was considerably smaller so people played with keyboards on the lap to practice for playing in LAN environment. Nowadays you get more desk space at LAN so it makes russian style kind of useless.

What are some habits I can start with this method?

Does RSI count?

Also stealing the b6 name from collaide to make it sound more official

cp_prolands_b6
--------

* Lowered cap time from 2 seconds to 1 second on last.
* Fixed a new hiding spot near resupply area where you could stand on top of an invisible wall.

EDIT:

420.Collaide: i approve
420.Collaide: official b6

dot_can we talk about how hector herrera literally dominated kroos and khedira all game though, showed that he should have been the one to go to RM after 2014 imo

@ondkaja and other swedes how do you guys feel about the game tomorrow?

If we win the match we are guaranteed to go through. 1-0 is enough. Should be very possible. Gonna watch the game now and cheer for my team :)

EDIT: how do you manage do get a yellow card 10 seconds after the start of the match? wow
