I mean you could literally have an Invite team move down to Main and play in Main without restrictions. You'd have the ESEA issue again.

Thoughts on new RGL ping guidelines?

punteroarcadiaI want to say thank you to exa and the rest of the RGL team for taking this seriously and listening to the community here. It's difficult to accept responsibility for a mistake (especially with all the vitriol towards the league in general) so I really believe a sincere thank you is in order for righting this wrong.
Hopefully an agreement can come together during this season allowing SA players to continue playing in RGL

I already said my appreciation toward the staff team. It's wonderful that this got solved so quickly.
All my thanks now goes to everybody that did write up an opinion in regards to this situation, otherwise this wouldn't have gotten so much attention.
SA players are all thanking everybody that helped us through, including staff.
We're looking forward to discuss possibilities on another time, but for now we got what we wanted; the ability to play Season 7!

Team power rankings have been posted to the spreadsheet.
Some things to note:
My team "ctap2work" was placed into the rankings by XBS, to avoid obvious biases.
This was created with some scrim information in mind but primarily took an "on paper" approach.
I received input from je'mond, XBS, chell, arcadia, and Tcmano on both their placements and formatting.
The write-ups explain team placements.
Teams are placed in no particular order, sort of. Teams near the top are more in order than the teams near the bottom.
Expect these to come out after every fourth game, so every two weeks.
Please remember this was done for fun to allow Main to have more content this season. There is no beef and should not be assumed when looking at these rankings.

Thoughts on new RGL ping guidelines?

New ping guidelines make the limit 110 ping essentially barring all SA teams from playing in RGL. Teams also have the liberty of declining any server that would help the SA players get better ping. I know I'm in the minority here but I disagree with essentially banning SA from RGL. Their leagues no longer exist either. RGL should at least give thought to region expansion.
Thoughts?
