#308 le economy crash in TF2 General Discussion
hooliif anyone is going to get fucked it's going to be trader mains. fucking with the real money marketplace transactions is going to be a potential legal issue.

They are literally just video game hats that only have the value assigned to them by other players. Trader mains are going to just have to choke on those tears while they scream about how many hours it took them to make a $30 profit when they could've just gotten a job at Chick-Fil-A.

warriordragon12with every purchase made on amazon, rent in south lake union goes up $50

also $15 an hour for warehouse workers sounds good until you realize random small ice cream shops in seattle pay their employees $18/hr+ and they definitely aren’t trillion dollar companies

The cost of living in Seattle is also 50% higher than the national average. Paying someone 18/hr in Seattle may as well be the equivalent of paying them 15/hr anywhere else in the country outside of the other high cost of living metropolises.

MakAs if people r actually upset about buying cheap shit lmaooo absolute state of america

People are more upset that their 11.50/hr unskilled labor job has them working under "inhuman conditions" and how apparently 11.50/hr starting pay for an unskilled labor job with benefits is such low and terrible pay because the American lifestyle of mindless consumerism coupled with the current rent:income ratio is inherently unsustainable.

mmrarkteAs of July 8th 2019, Dellor has successfully gotten his sub button back after a long and arduous process. Thank you to everyone who signed the petition and spread the good word. Dominating.

He has still no sub button (this is easy enough to verify just by opening his channel), he said Twitch "reached out" to him and I genuinely hope they essentially told him to fuck off.

GritomaMelonTFhe said the n word 63 times bro, why does he deserve to have his sub button backi mean he did say the funny word a whole bunch of times but id need more than 2 hands to count the number of tf2 players who eat sleep and shit the silly noun on a daily basis and havent been publicly ostracized for it

so anyways

The more that actually somewhat well-known people get told it's not okay the sooner the rest of the gaming community will realize that it's also not okay. Right? That's how it's supposed to work, though in a reasonable world there also wouldn't be such an issue with toxicity in the gaming community at large in the first place. Also, if you have a problem with toxic friends you should definitely call them out on it, and if they persist, well, you don't need toxic people in your life, right?

funhaver1998because i feel like it would be unfufiling to be a full time gamer personally. im sorta weirded out that this guy wants that shit so badly that he fucking bows to the internet for his gaming platform back as tho his life depends on it when really its not that great. its sorta like begging to work at mcdonalds to me, only with more money involved

i was just wondering if other ppl felt like that because im wondering what the average gamer wants out of this whole make tf2 an esport thing

It's because it's the one thing he knows how to do and doesn't force him to leave his precious comfort zone surrounded by waifu pillows and empty Mtn Dew bottles. Not having to leave the comfort of your own home to make money is a hell of a thing, there's people that'd do it even if they're only making like $4/hr, because $4/hr is better than $0/hr.

gemm
if he was actually on 2k subs he made at least $60k a year

Depending on where he's from that's either really good pay, or barely scraping by, tbh. Though I guess when your entire income is Internet-based, there's not really much tying you down to one particular area if your income doesn't cover basic cost of living where you currently are.

wtzwho? and what did he do

Apparently told one of his female teammates to "go cook a sandwich" live on stream and previously was dropped from a team for dropping racial slurs. No big loss, to be honest. Act like a toxic kid while live on stream, accept the consequences. Given the length of time between these two different incidents, I'm going to go ahead and guess he's only actually sorry until the spotlight is off him and will go right back to being a dick. I hope he has fun flipping burgers at McDonalds.

#64 belle delphine selling bathwater in Off Topic
hoolii want to see someone explain belle delphine to their grandparents

"Person generates free attention, ad revenue, and popularity by employing controversial marketing gimmick. People who are outraged by this continue giving her attention, so at the end of the day she still wins."
The point isn't really her trying to make a profit off selling her bath water to desperate nerds. It's her making a profit off free advertisement generated by people who are outraged at how shameless she is. I know I certainly would've never heard of this girl if not for the bath water gimmick, so it must be working.

plusProtonCool post but maybe try using paragraphs next time @boxcar

tl;dr: People hate sigafoo. Sidular intentionally structures his league launch post to address all the issues people have with sigafoo and RGL.

Screwball
I still have no idea why Valve decided to buff Scout in this manner. Literally nobody wanted Scout to be buffed.

Pub mains who main medic and also only play Dustbowl thought Scout was too weak.

So this is basically just a "how popular is this class" chart, right? No love for poor Gibraltar, man. Pathfinder doesn't look too popular either, but I can understand that because his grappling hooks aren't as fun as they seem on paper.

Imagine making sure everyone knows you don't care about someone so much you need to hang around for hours making sure your opinion is heard instead of just like, ignoring things you don't like. Honestly not surprised given it's hamaham, though.
