Out of context it may look like this, but it's a small step toward getting people to think about what they do with their trash and recycling. If they say "hey using straws is bad" maybe they'll start thinking "maybe I should recycle this instead of just throwing it out, or maybe I should use reusable containers instead of buying disposable garbage."

Honestly feels like Degu got banned simply because they're riding the tide of public sentiment, which should be reconsidered. Pred's ban is justified, however I feel like taking prize money is going a bit too far. I do understand that they're trying their best to set an example with Pred's ban being so extreme, however. Also for people complaining about Credu's renames, are we going to start banning everyone who bought "jewkiller.exe" off the SCM and didn't bother to rename it?

People tend to be pretty thin-skinned, so just because you personally don't think it's offensive, someone who is trans or black or a woman might think it is. You have to learn to think about things from other people's perspective as well.

Remember when Degu tagged up as bin.NGR during a cast official? People usually take note of it like once then forget about it because they don't think it's that big a deal until someone starts posting charts and citing sources on why one skin color is inferior to everything else.

My sisters used to do this when we were in middle school. Ten years later and had to be roommates with one for a while and she still did it and actually expected me to both clean up after her and take care of her dog. I still don't understand how people can be content to live in their own filth. You have my condolences, being forced to live with that type of person is honestly the worst.

You're basically suggesting banning two players based on nothing more than your hurt feelings, despite you not even being the person the comments were directed toward. If this were a repeat incident with serious cases of harassment by the two users in question, you might actually have a case, but all you have are a single comment from both on Twitter, which is honestly not worth banning over given that neither comment have anything to do with TF2 in the first place.

There's literally nothing wrong with TF2's microtransaction model. It's one of the best of the F2P games available. You're also 5+ years too late to be complaining about hats breaking artstyle. If you don't like hats that much use NoHats mod. Or if you're really so against it, stop playing the game and go sell all those flashy non-artstyle skins you have in your inventory. You speak a lot about personal responsibility, but if you really meant that you wouldn't have any skins in your inventory, nor would you even support the game by continuing to play it.
