I'm creating a "Competitive TF2 Guide to Everything". If you don't mind, I would like to put your post into this document sooner or later.
Hey, so I took it upon myself to create a Competitive TF2 guide for people interested in joining the community + becoming a competitive player, and for the people who are already in the comp. scene but are new and want to learn.
I don't have much right now, but I will continuously work on it until I feel it's absolutely complete.
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JlwTva7IjbJoAOQ5cMAG9NvqBzMA_7LIUpTEHYkojSg
You can view + comment on the document with the link above. I absolutely will take any advice on what I could put in it or change. I plan on doing things such as what websites are essential to the community, how to find what class you should play, how to play maps, how to connect to IRC, etc. It's gonna be big.
I would also like help from anyone who knows how to make pictures (drawing or whatever) that I can use for different sections of the document.
ToasterIf so how?
Have you not read what people have said in this thread and your mentor thread and carefully tried to understand what they were saying?
Yeah, sure, some posts were just ragging on you, but a lot gave you plenty of information as to why your threads are a joke and why we can't take you seriously.
ToasterStop ruining my chaces of doing anything good in tf2.
I think you're ruining your chances of doing anything good in TF2.
ToasterI have good DM
Not being a dick here but when you were pugging earlier you were missing 3x more shots than you hit. You also didn't comm whatsoever, unless what everyone says is true and you're talking 300 miles away from your mic. And you kept making excuses for your failures.
Suck it up if you failed to do something and learn from the mistakes like you said you're willing to do. No time for excuses.
We had this on NATF2, it was terrible
Snakewater's properties don't allow for custom skyboxes
SherbIsn't there an Ammomod mode in MGE?
I'm looking at a video on it now, and I'm sure I've played something incredibly similar in MGE before.
The ammomod he's talking about is an older version of MGE basically. Gran mid was in an enclosed circle with only the mid point and crates. Badlands mid didn't have the houses, only the bridge, train and valley->mid. It was also a lot longer, about 2 times the size.
there are other differences but yeah
We could use more threads like this.
the nets' defense hasn't been that great but that's a good thing
#2 Nazr, Nate, Noah, Boozer and Kirk* played amazingly well late 4th through 3OT. It was definitely Nate's night though, he's why they won. He's gonna go far.
* mentioned kirk because he's good but mainly because he played 60 minutes.
Deron Williams is a bitch though. Flopped to foul out Nate. There's seriously no way Nate pushed him. His arm barely even extended quick/hard enough to force a push.
I was only able to see one game tonight but my god it was one of the best I have seen in awhile. Anyone else watch the Bulls/Nets game?
I'm not the one installing it, I don't know what that means. :x
Hey, I'm trying to get source/metamod to work for this and whenever we type !add it doesn't send us to the arena. What could be wrong exactly?
