edit 2: that's what i meant :V
I thought I had gotten used to playing against people who knew what they were doing.
ckapkirbyI'm going to some "noob only" tdm server. Shouldn't be hard to find. See you there as soon as possible.that noob only tdm server is having me download their pk3 at 1.2 kb/s
please can we go somewhere else
I dealt with it. It was finished when I was done pooping nbd
edit: is there raw input for this game?

Yeah, no one is playing in an servers that give me less than 80+ ping, plus any server I try to join has me downloading stuff at like 1.2k/s lol
NebulaPlease include a crosshair!
This is something I've thought over plenty of times. I understand like 99.9999999999999% of people want to see the crosshair, but there's never an explanation for why they do. I hope people don't take this as me not realizing there are clear reasons for it, because I'm also 99.9999999999% there are.
Reasons such as "it's easier to understand how someone aims when there's a tool to help you do that" or "it's natural to have, let alone see a crosshair in a playback of a T/FPS game". There are others, but those seem like they would be the more common reasons.
My question is, does a crosshair matter 100% of the time? And no, I don't mean to imply that people would like crosshairs in a segment where it's a smooth or anything else that's not strictly gameplay. For example, you see a part of a video where it features a soldier or demo and that specific clip doesn't have a crosshair. The clip after that features a scout, sniper or some other hit scan class, but that clip has a crosshair instead of not. What's wrong with having it that way? I can see consistency being a respectable argument, but honestly, I don't think it would be all that bad.
I'm not necessarily saying that it isn't interesting to see how a soldier/demo player aims, but let's be real here and realize that it's nowhere near as interesting to study as someone playing a hitscan class.
NoonaI really enjoy it when I have nothing to do and just chilling with some friends. Otherwise not so fun alone.
I wasn't playing with anyone I know but I found a pretty vocal squad/platoon to play with while I was playing. If there's anything I learned about the game is that the game never seems to end.
santababynarfstill say dark souls if you have a controller
Is it really that hard without a controller?
No. I have DS and played up until Sens Fortress (fuck sens fortress) with kb+m. It was perfectly playable for me.
It's gotten to the point where when someone from Valve says they're not working on HL3 makes me believe they're just saying that to make it that much better when it actually comes out.
Also something below that's in relation to #1's post (confirmed fake, which is obvious anyway)
On Greg Coomer's twitter page, his background is this, which with color filtering gives this (the image is basically the particle decay of half life).
My take? He works at Valve and likes the HL series. Could be more to it, but more than likely not.
Valve apparently emailed Geoff Keighley about them having "3" announcements coming soon.
Greg, on Twitter, posted these symbols in this order (three consecutive tweets): O, [O ], O+O
These symbols are found on the /livingroom/ page for Steam's website.
My take again? I don't know what the symbols mean, but it's 95% more than likely only something for this project, if I can call it that. Probably Steam Box (or whatever the name was again) like everyone else is guessing.
Can we end this here please? It's, like usual, more than likely nothing.
why is this even in the tf2 customization sub-forum?
