#6 Overclocking Mice in Hardware

Well I gave it a try using my m45, got it up to 3000hz "stable", The only thing I notice so far is that it feels much "smoother" and responsive in desktop mode(as in when I am in desktop and doing nothing but regular stuff, don't know if it's due to my monitor being 144hz one). I saw no difference in games between 1000hz and 3000hz...

I am worried if your APU is overheating and then starting to throttle, could you check the temps while playing with HWmonitor?

#7 Anime suggestions? in Music, Movies, TV

"Waste my time with"
Why would you want to waste time? Do something practical, exercise if you don't, look for some good book(s) to read, work on stuff you aren't good at. Be productive, anime isn't important...

#5 Changing resolution in Customization
paskoI changed my resolution from 1280x1024 to 1280x720.Will the mouse sensitivity change and if so will the sensitivity be higher or lower?

Not really, but there will be fewer pixels to travel through, which in one sense will give the impression of 'feeling' faster. You will adjust to it pretty quickly.

#17 CS:GO update for 9/24/15 (9/25/15 UTC, 1.35.0.3) in CSGO General Discussion
mustardoverlordcompletely disagreed, 64 tick is the worst

Why? I see no difference between 64/128 when I play, I either hit or miss like an idiot and there is no matter with tick. And if you're gonna jabber about "but I see blood, or hit etc etc many times". Then I will say this happens too, in 128 tick servers, specially when I play 1v1 severs. Feels exactly the same as I am playing on a random valve server locked in 64 ticks...

#40 CS:GO update for 9/15/15 in CSGO General Discussion
TviQhurrykannkiozJuicykiozThe m4a1 is just awful atm.
Pistols are extremely OP.
The animations are horrible.

they fix the hitboxes and all you can do is complain

Ofc the hitboxes being fixed is a good thing.
However the rest is just not good at all. The m4a1 is absolutely dreadful.
I don't know if you're serious or joking. The m4a1-s is pretty much same, you can still two tap and get easy kill plus it still got the element of surprise with silenced bullets...just adapt, it would be worse if it needed more than 2 bullets to kill someone...
It is not anywhere near the same as now u cant get away with spraying at his chest and hitting everything and dont forget that u tap faster than u hold down the fire button Its a huge nerf and everyone pretty much will stop using it untill they either revert it or change something

It is and it wasn't a weapon designed to spray, but more to control your shots. The fire-rate of the weapon, as its now is around 600rpm, which equal to the rpm of the AK47.

#12 Can this laptop give 144hz? in Hardware
ProcreativeWith an HMDI to dual DVI you might because to get 144hz to work. You might bottleneck on the splitter and get input lag however. This laptop is more than capable of getting 144fps with the proper CFG (comanglia). Due to the fact that its integrated gfx you'll get better FPS the lower you scale your resolution but with an i5/HD Graphics 5500 that should only be 1024/768.

Please don't encourage people to buy something that might make them sad after an update or two :-(
I am a laptop user and in short of money, all I can say it's not worth to invest in a laptop(because you can't upgrade or anything). He is better off with a decent desktop, one that suits his need and easily upgradable whenever needed.

#6 Can this laptop give 144hz? in Hardware

Please don't use laptops for gaming, and specially not those meant for simple entertainment. With the same amount of money you could most likely build a decent desktop.

#4 Worst setup you've ever had in Off Topic

Hmm, for me it's a setup I am still running(but not playing with). It's my old computer with a AMD sempron(2800+) @2GHz, along with 2GB(DDR1) ram plus my old pal, ATI Radeon HD 2400 pro. Could run decently TF2 at launch. Was playing @1280x1024 mix of High/medium settings +vsync on, so had stable 60fps. Later on I learnt that my monitor could push a 85Hz so skipped the +vysnc and game ran steadily between 90-100fps(could randomly dip to 40). Now if I launch tf2, it takes a few min to load the game and then a min or two to join a server. Basically between 15-30fps @800x600 with chrismaxfps config.
