I renamed the addons folder, restarted the server, recorded stv via rcon and jumped around on a map for a few minutes. killing myself and switched teams a few times. I booted up the demo with the advanced spectator plugin and the glow still wasn't persistent. to make sure the advanced spectator plugin isn't at fault I downloaded a fresh esea demo and the glow was persistent on that so yeah, it's not any plugin. must be something in the server cfg. I've uploaded it for you guys to take a look at: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/60781878/big_boys_cfg.rar
To test if disabling addons minimizes the demo file size I will have to wait until a scrim day or if tf2lobby starts working.
tv_autorecord is already set to 0, before, during and after scrims. I'm not saying the demo is huge in terms of length, it's huge in terms of size. The demo is 45 minutes long, as it should be.
I'm having this problem that I can't seem to figure out. I've reformatted my scrim server like 3 or 4 times but the problem happens everytime. So I just install metamod, sourcemod, mgemod, soapdm and match recorder. For some reason every demo is fucking huge for no reason, last scrim was a 45 minute game and the demo was 485MB. Also, I heavily rely on the the advanced spectator plugin to review demos and whenever i turn on the glow it works for like 10 seconds but it stops working right after. it's really annoying and i don't know what's going on. does anyone know what can possibly be causing this?
clearly you have no idea what you're talking about
JonesyMcFlyJackyLegsDude, fuck that.
"A true artist publishes his creationes for the sake that he wants to share with the world the best art that he can create, not a decent art, nor a great art, but the best art" - Me, just now.
You shouldn't do your best art out of some feeling that you "owe" the world your best.
you should do your best art because it makes you happy.
Look at F. Scott Fitzgerald, for example. He died thinking he was a failure, because reviewers at the time didn't think The Great Gatsby was any good. He poured his heart and soul into it for years, through a personal crisis, and when he was finished, he was damn proud. He felt it was his magnum opus, his ticket to literary acclaim. When people at the time didn't appreciate it, he was heartbroken. All that work put into making his greatest writing, and it was panned.
Cut to 1942, two years after his death. An organization in America called the Council on Books in Wartime was distributing paperback books to soldiers. One of these books, The Great Gatsby, proved to be as popular as pin-up girls with the soldiers, which helped spark interest in the book. By the 1950s, it had become a staple in high school curriculum, and by the 1960s it was steadily selling 50,000 copies a year.
Cut to today, when it sells 500,000 copies annually and is widely considered one of, if not the greatest pieces of American literature.
But throughout the rest of Fitzgerald's life, he thought he had failed because the world didn't appreciate his art the way he did.
tl;dr don't make the best art you can to please people and become famous because you'll just die thinking you're a failure before your art pleases people and makes you famous
Luke, take all the time you need to finish your documentary. You don't owe anyone a specific release date. Even if you release it a year from now, the only thing that matters is that you're proud of it.
Question, what kind of equipment would i need to work with lossless 1080p video in vegas without lag?
I was going to recommend the thinkpad w530 but after some research I've concluded that the asus laptops are superior because of their cooling system(thinkpads run real hot). If you'd like a 15 inch you should grab the asus G55VW.
Will the servers be running soap dm?
KiritoThe G500's sensor is not placed in the center, so it gets positive accel.
Look at this for example
http://static.trustedreviews.com/94/145422/4037/13095-img4767s.jpg
Usually, the mouse sensor would be placed in the center. This causes the mouse to move faster/slower in a vertical direction.
I don't see how the sensor's position would give it accel. Stop spreading this misinformation.
