funny idea number 2:
let everyone add up to dm classes and med, if u have 12 dm classes added but no meds, give them 20 sec to rup and then make everyone play some reaction based mini game (like https://www.humanbenchmark.com/tests/reactiontime but integrated, clicking too fast makes u play med too so you avoid ppl with fast auto clicker scripts) on the website, 2 slowest people to click has to med (unless 2 meds are added, if 1 med is added only the slowest person goes med) everyone gets 5 seconds to click and if everyone hasnt clicked the draft gets cancelled and if a person didnt click in order to dodge they get 20 min ban

whenever you select a class you get added to the pool of randomly drafted medics, however, meds are picked based on a random percentage and whenever you pug and dont get drafted as med your percentage goes up and once you play med your percentage gets reset, people who add up on med are given a higher percentage

Pete1. After the sv_pure 2 checking finds one file that isn't correct, it stops checking the other files. If you join a server with sv_pure 2 these files are checked:sound\... trusted_source models\... trusted_source materials\... trusted_source particles\... trusted_source scripts\game_sounds.txt trusted_source scripts\game_sounds_manifest.txt trusted_source scripts\game_sounds_player.txt trusted_source scripts\game_sounds_vo.txt trusted_source scripts\game_sounds_vo_handmade.txt trusted_source scripts\game_sounds_weapons.txt trusted_source scripts\soundmixers.txt trusted_source
But if you join with multiple game_sounds files you will get this error:Reloading sound file 'scripts\game_sounds.txt' due to pure settings.
... and that's it. It stops there. In order to get the game_sounds_weapons.txt file to be properly checked by sv_pure, I had to remove all the individual file checks besides that one.
does it check the files in that order? can i in theory use hot_female_pyro_big_boobies models on sv_pure 2 if i fuck something in sounds up first?

the TF2 devs cant do shit for us money wise, if you want valve (THE COMPANY, NOT THE TF2 DEVS) to give us a major you need to convince them that investing in a tournament WILL return a large profit without influencing current prices of items in a negative way, for example if 6s was played with our rules, the price of heavy cosmetics wont go down even if heavy isn't seen anywhere but on last and even then only for 2 seconds
also gl trying to get the person who tunes in for 15 minutes while browsing twitch manages to understand the huge importance of ubers which is easier said than done since in dota 2 and csgo the objective and how to reach it is really easily understandable, for csgo its plant/defuse a bomb by getting to a bombsite or kill the enemy team, for dota its destroy the ancient by destroying towers and barracks
in tf2 you have 5cp which is a foreign format for a fuckton of people, A/D, KOTH and payload are easier to understand but then you lose the quality of gameplay that 5cp offers
cosmetics do nothing but shit the entire situation up even more, skins in overwatch still leaves every character recognizable whereas some cosmetics change the silhouettes too much for the casual viewer to be able to instantly tell which class it is what the fuck is this
