decent editing, you've really got to render in 240fps or something if you wanna do slowmo. shouldn't really cause more rendering strain (in theory) but just reduce the speed of rendering. there's also launch options to allocate more memory to tf2 if you need to if it running out of memory is actually causing crashes
-heapsize xwhere x is in KB, set it to half your ram or something if you have enough
