• both scouts on atomizer, demo builds using katana, pocket probably on shotgun to deny scouts
  
• on last you can now put the sentry far from spawn, heal it to tank an uber and even teleport it away and rebuild it by spawn if you have the space to
  
• on last you sit with the brass beast and tank like 25% more of the uber or swap to fists of steel
  
• some roamers who are gods with the beggars will run it for picks sometimes
  
• jarate allows snipers picking into last to be more useful in the ensuing fight
  
• 8 rocket air strike syncs on to the med for those sweet +10s

it doesn't work in casual anymore? rip, i stick to fast hightower now tho for pubs

i still use p-rec cause it only records actual games and not warmup. the only downside for me is that it won't record pugs with the new ready system so i normally just don't bother. people normally do it manually now though

it's open sourced but not actively being worked on by the original developers. anyone's free to submit a pull request for fixes tho and lange will merge it if it's good, like the fix to snakewater spawns

hl2 is a great game to speedrun, there's a great mix of outdoor abh/ash and inside movement. and there's new strats being found all the time, though most of them are pretty aids finnicky clips n stuff atm.

i'd recommend playing hl1 as well, it's aged really well. install WON dlls for bhopping which doesn't really break the game if you play through casually and RInput cause there's no way to disable the mouse accel

also whacking dangerously thin doorways as i run through them with the basher

you disable the hud in game using a custom hud then record using shadowplay

also if your problems with lawena and source recording tool are "doesn't work" and "can't download" i think you might be the problem more than the software
