Brimstone30%-40% heals with yomps and shrugger on his team NotLikeThis

guy actually doesn't take that much heals if you watch him, he utilises crit heals loads between fights and doesnt take heals in the middle of fights since he just walks under, misses 4 rockets and hits 6 shotgun meats

#12 i58 prize pool increase in LAN Discussion
OsirisPretty nice to have an actual sponsor from outside the scene. Looks like they're only sponsoring TF2 as well, not any of the other tournaments. Thank mr Toshiba!

they also contributed to the overwatch prizepool, but it's still less than tf2 so we good

#1 i58 prize pool increase in LAN Discussion

looks like OCZ (toshiba's brand of SSDs) has joined scrap.tf and contributed about £2k £1k (I think it was £6.5k £7.5k before) to the prize pool to bring it up to £8.5k

edit: £ not $ xd

#9 What do you all want out of the Pyro update? in TF2 General Discussion

the other day a pyro was on my left in pregame, i rocket jump off a wall on my right with a direct hit, he reflects and the rocket hits me. another time im playing scout running away from one and the airblast actually slows me down. fixing stuff like those two would be a start

#61 TF2 update for 8/16/16 (8/17/16 UTC) in TF2 General Discussion

i don't get it, they have 2 (or more?) competitive matchmaking systems up in the form of csgo and dota 2, they make a new one with so much wrong with it and then have the spend the next 6 months fixing it. why couldn't they make smarter decisions (which have been made twice before at valve) on the first release. i think this is the only mm system that's gonna have a comprehensive rank system update AFTER release

other than that, they're obviously committed to keeping players informed for the timebeing and are at least intending to implement good fixes

#2 Selling 140mm tf2 logo fan grill in Off Topic

I mean as a fan grill it looks flawed since there's no mesh or anything but the logo looks pretty sick in that

#21 LF Pre-Built (run tf2 at ~150 fps) in Hardware
Setsul#17
Wouldn't recommend Haswell anymore, Skylake is faster and the same price. Same for DDR3 vs DDR4.

Also mediocre overpriced 750W PSU for a <400W, smh.

I get tired of saying it but the XL2411Z is the same price as the VG248QE and far better.

Huh, weird, on my quick price check the skylake was £70 more just for the CPU. I normally leave headroom with PSUs cause I normally OC and this is an AMD card too, but fair point. Also afaik they both use the exact same panel, lightboost is probs worth the slightly higher cost tho

building your own is seriously such a better deal. if you really don't wanna build it I'm sure some computer shop will build it for you (ideally with you) for $20 or something

something i threw together quickly. i made most of it originally with GBP prices so there might be a few $ to shave off by reselecting some parts. if you're a student you can probably get an OS for free with MS dreamspark, check that (if not pm me closer to when you're building and ill give you a key from it)

in other news wow ddr3 is so cheap now
