JarateKingIf you don't have any other viewmodels that end up in the same spot you want to keep (because they will also get affected) you can mod your hud to have modified transparent viewmodels that have the refract be fully opaque so it completely removes viewmodels, and just make it cover up the left hand.
For example, this mod will do it:
