JaguarFiendThere is actually something you can for me if you haven't done this already. Detail exactly what you did with your HUD or whatever you did to give you those enormous square cheater shadows and give this information to someone trustworthy (I nominate Nursey). Then we can send this to Valve with an explanation and maybe some time in the next year and a half if we're lucky it might get addressed and fixed.

edit: To address how it happened. I never made the additions to the HUD that made the shadows happen. The hud is made by arekk and I found the download link on Nursey's stream.

pretty sure the only thing that changes with res that changes things model wise would be aspect ratio where 4:3 has a lower FOV than 16:9 even if both are on fov_desired 90
Since you're switching from 2 different 16:9 ratios the models wont be different sizes however on 1280x720 you're taking a 720p image and stretching it to your native 1920x1080 monitor so its just more pixelated.

also idk abt the rest but i don't like the ban system for maps every week i would rather go back to the old map rotation system
as much as I don't like the new map voting system either, its not far from being something that could work.
if teams were given more than like 48 hours to practice for maps it would be better than what it is now.
I did however enjoy being able to play more than 3 different maps within a season. Matches could come down to which team is more well versed on a specific map (that isn't the big 3).
