can someone do this recursively
and then we lost htat round :(
in theory this sounds nice, but in reality most of the maps available (that have been listed) are not ready for league play / have already been tried and disliked
ComangliaNah, other classes just need to be made better.
Demo Buffs that would be cool
-revert sticky nerf (or at least remove the whole rampup bs)
-remove tumble and spin from projectiles similar to how the loch-n-load works
-fix the sticky detonation delay (might not be easy but should definitely happen)
Soldier Buffs that would be cool
-I really like the idea of making the soldier take gunboats self-damage all the time, and just removing gunboats, might be to much of a buff but would be interesting at the very least.
All the other classes need various little fixes or a near complete redo (looking at you pyro), but I doubt any of them would be as effective as scout, but would definitely make them better/less of a pain to play and play against.
I think just increasing soldier's movement speed to match demoman speed would probably be enough for soldier
as much fun as these theoretical are, this is not how valve balances the game
saam12:10 AM - tot: the last thing we heard from slem was someone yelling "PUT YOUR FUCKING HANDS UP" and then he dropped
confirmed
mustardoverlordhighfivenothing is more sad than hearing banny or mustard scream their little balls off at a pugchamp medic. RELAX
I like to think mine is more of a whine than a scream
true but still
Avvyhow do u na people stand pugging with this manchild
a good amount of players actively avoid him
sendbotmodeyeah dude 100 damage rails are super fun they should have stayed at 100 damageTheFragileIt's really just comparing q1/q3promode to q2/vq3/q4. The movement systems in all of the games are awesome and should be appreciated, but to say one is objectively better or what QC needs is a bit silly.all of the games also have different weapon and armor mechanics
I think most people will agree QL was terrible to watch and honestly to play and one of the reasons for that was that it took the movement from q3, added a bit of q2 flavor (double jumps) and then reduced the damage on every major weapon except rockets, and thus you had 10 minutes with 1 frag; it's so much harder to outright kill someone because the weapons you needed to chase are bad in those situations.
q4 had engine problems but other than that every other quake game is super fun
has the website been hugged to death?
that's a yes
there's a reason it was switched to 80, but my point was movement systems also force some other parts of the game's design
