tbf luca was like the least circle jerky team I've been on
but pretty much everyone on that team was there because everyone had the same mindset and were pretty similar in skill level
as for reimu, I've always thought he's good but not quite good enough to be on a 4th place team. If he had just played scout in invite or on like the top IM team since s20 he would've been better than cheesy and he was better than knuck I thought
idk if you wanna be on a top4 team and you're not somebody's bestie it can be hard but tf2 really isn't that circlejerky esp compared to literally any other game (dota2, csgo, ow)
also marm is probably like the 4th or 5th best soldier in NA at least

there are a lot of issues inherent to the engine and art that won't get fixed ever
I can't be the only one that thinks earlier alpha versions with only the rocket launcher modeled and overall only having a few textures looks better than whatever is going on now as a whole

Tmbrthis is exactly why nobody wants to make maps for competitive. so much work and so many hours go into it, and when people like Father Brandon come along, who are very excited to get maps out there and are really willing and open to feedback, its upsetting to see how the community treats them. i get that people don't like the map, but by just leaving in the middle of the game, the mapper doesn't get to see organized play that will help them make it better. maybe if mario party 4 bothered to play or even look at the map before playing, they wouldn't have had such a bad experience.
sometimes maps are just bad...I appreciate the effort people put into making new maps but you can't really get upset if someone doesn't enjoy playing a map and calls it bad as a result.
