cooleverestIf I recall correctly, a while back somebody offered to make a tf2 comp history documentary. I haven't heard about it for sometime, does anybody know what happened to it?
edit: It's called "beyond the hats" but im not quite sure on its current status, still pretty hyped though
I think it was kevinispwn that was gonna do it, but I'm guessing he won't have time really between studies, I'm assuming, doing so much for the newbie mixes, then actually having a life outside of tf2.
Duo hosting could well work out in the future, but honestly I don't think they were really a match for the show at all. It's nothing personal against them, but compared to previous episodes this seemed a lot more casual in the delivery of your script. I don't really mind swearing at all but as there's been none in the show so far, as far as I'm aware, it kinda detracted from the, presumably sought, professionalism of the show. That's not even starting on the fact that Raja himself said he doesn't play comp, and therefore really doesn't know what/who he's talking about.
Audio aside, everything else was great as always.
I'm pretty sure you could queue them up in handbrake.

Was your game in 720? It looks like the video is upscaled quite a bit.
Also thumbnails is in vgui, so you need that at the start, so it should be "vgui/replay/thumbnails/ow_flare"

How can I make this a different image? Even though I have the SubImage set to go to "ow_flare" it still goes to the quickplay icon

Well if you're image is "ow_flare" and you've got "ow flare" you should probably make sure the spelling and shit matches up.
I'm pretty sure there's a limit on font size in tf2, I think it's 72 for maximum tall value. I'm not 100% sure about that but I remember trying something similar myself and nothing worked, I chalked it up to a "tall" limit.
TomAlso war never had any intentions in going so if suave really were serious about going they would have gotten a roster with people who at least had some intention in going
You're saying this as if there were loads of demomen for them to choose from that they knew/liked enough to play with, let alone travel abroad and compete with. Even if there were people they liked, who says they would have gotten any meaningful practice with someone they hadn't played with before? Everyone on the team pretty much knew war to some extent so, being pushed for time, he was the logical choice.
Phoenix21garrappachcIs perilous playing with their old roster?who said suave are going to play dhs?
Coz, you know, as almighty as mike is, he can't play in two teams at the same time...
half of them can't commit and Mike is playing for perlious atm.
Sam and Kiler definitely wanna make something happen, so there should be some form of suave at dhs.
PendjiIt's kinda sad how the bigger TF2 gets, the more shady the involvement of money gets. This is what, second time a team signs up for qualifiers, only to win money and not go? Shouldn't it be a requirement to actually show intentions of going to the fucking event beyond "eh maybe lol"?
This is basically a 'fuck you' to TF2 getting more of a presence at Dreamhack in favor of someone winning money. N e a t.
Yeah some people may think it's shitty by them, but at the end of the day if the current prem teams are getting beaten by a bunch of inactive, albeit very good, players then they don't really deserve the money. It's nice having all these games to cast/watch but if the desire was that the top active teams attend the LAN without the chance of people choking 4 tournaments in a row (Publiclir), the money should have just been given to the teams. Then have showmatches or something to promote the tournament.
"28-29 may"
Just checking, do you mean August?
DavidTheWinaust_nEveryone who went to i55 im pretty sure (of those who were playing)
To the best of my knowledge none of the top i55 players brought their own PCs. The only person I'm aware of who brought his own PC was Smirre. Everyone else received on-site PC rentals even some players from the UK.
I think Sidestep took his PC apart and just reassembled it once he got there, I think you can take most of it in a carry on and you could even forego taking a case and yolo it.
