Just pushed out an initial update for this for MYM. I think there's still a couple of things that won't be perfect but MM/Casual and stuff are all functional as well as the new drop down menu stuff.

for some reason. increasing the font size for PVHUD through the clientscheme.res file isn't working, the font size stays the same;

That's because the game was in 1280x720, at 1080 it'll be a lot smaller looking. I tried the same thing ages ago and realised that res is the reason it looks bigger.

If you're especially bothered about score or w/e and have your own server, you can play with a 2v2 cfg so that there's no score at all.
Well I made a complete new version of the unusual effect remover but it only works in sv_pure 0 sadly. I made it to remove weapon effects too but I don't know anyone with one to test it out, so I dunno if that only works in sv_pure 0 too. Link for anyone that wants it anyway.

aieraCan you help all of us remove it?Wouldn't be OP's issue (probably), but transparent viewmodels without one of the console commands changed will also cause particle effects (like rocket trails) to go transparent like the viewmodels. Would change every particle afaik, so you probably wouldn't want to fully hide them all, but you could go semi-transparent for more visibility.
Modding the rocket trail pcf file would be able to fully hide just the rocket trail, but I'm not sure if it'd work in sv_pure. It might be possible, but some pcf's let you remove particles in sv_pure and some don't for some reason. I'll test it out but I can't promise results.

I just replaced swear words with others, like half of us in mumble say fudge instead of fuck and shiz or something stupid like that instead of shit. No doubt we sound retarded but it's nice not swearing so much tbh.
I'm pretty sure huhy figured out a way to do something like this a while back for lawena. Could maybe give him a shout and see if he can still remember/help.

Yeah that was kind of the idea, now everyone can farm upfrags by updating obscure huds.
Hi. For a while now I've been wanting to do a video that shows people how to update outdated HUDs, and this week I finally made it. In this video I show the basic process that I go through when updating an outdated HUD. The method isn't perfect but as long as you aren't a stickler for having everything 100% perfectly as they always were this should work fine.
In the video I don't go into many specifics as that would have taken even longer to do, but I believe that most things should be covered sufficiently enough to work. I did forget to go over updating winpanels but to be honest I've found it easiest to just take the default one and work from there. I also forgot about inspect/item panels but honestly I don't think they really matter enough to go back and add into the video, that and the default ones are decent enough. If there's anything else you'd like covered either ask in the quick questions quick answers thread or ask here and I, or someone else, will most likely answer.
