My hairline's been receding for a while now, so I can give you a few pointers on signs to check for and how to deal with losing your hair. Feel free to add me http://steamcommunity.com/id/Sideshow1994/

Europe seems to have the problem that the "new" map is always the lowest scoring no matter what it is. I honestly think reckoner is way better than logjam or sunshine ever were and I think it's a fair bit better than a few of the maps that have been in the rotation for a while. Those maps playing poorly is far more accepted because they've been around for long enough that people have worked out decent strats on them, even though they still play godawfully (looking @ u badlands last).
They never sent the confirmation to my gmail address so I've signed up again now with a different one. It's not going into spam or anything either. Weird. If anyone has a spare key let me know but doubt anyone will.
I guess because I've signed up a lot later I'm just not going to get into the beta for ages now :(
I think this team is legit but if theyre not feeling it when they pcw it wont happen next season as all these players are going to have really high standards for how they'll want to the team to perform.
Ye mantreads are actually good for taking ubers into last and also the max dmg they can do to someone is 420 (u have to be going at 3500 hu/s downwards though). Also the reason they dont resist airblast is because they only resist the knockback done by damage. The way airblast works in general is dumb though because it just ignores where the pyro is airblasting you from or your current velocity. Instead it just makes you go slightly upwards and sets your horizontal velocity to about 0.
If u want to do everything pretty effectively, run gunboats.
If u want to be able to destroy things in ubers and have really good solo play at the expense of heals for ur teammates run shotgun.
If u want to have a stalematey game that you win/break a stalemate, run banners.
But if u are truly a giant brain player, run the most powerful gamesense unlock in tf2- the mantreads.
Anime kaidus looks shifty like hes about to offer to sell u perfomance enhancing drugs.
Ok to update our situation I think most of our team will be able to get rental pcs. However, the specs are not great (60hz monitors). We'd be really keen for anyone not playing in the tournament and going to lan or anyone who gets knocked out in the early stages to let us borrow their monitors/pcs.

Not youtube but this is one of my favourite comment chains
To clarify- from what I understand the lan sponsor gave the PCs to the company running the lan instead of directly to us and then the company running the lan are renting them to us because I suppose there was a miscommunication between them.
The production also need a good PC to stream with as the PCs available for rental only have i3s.
Engineer could be a good support/offense class that I could see people running if they gave him a wrench that removed sentries completely in exchange for giving him mini dispensers that burst heal and maybe another supporting building?
I dont really see the point in having engie as yet another area denial class so I'd be a big advocate of giving him something that changes his role (like the demoknight shields but this time changing the role to something that actually is useful in a team and is an underrepresented class role).
Using unlocks to shoehorn more roles into tf2 is actually probably a good thing because currently most of the specialist classes are pretty ineffective or are solely used for turtling.
There were several naturally occurring nuclear fission reactors operating in what is now a Uranium mine in Oklo, Gabon around 1.7 billion years ago. This was discovered due to a significant depletion in the Uranium-235 isotope at the mine compared to what would be expected. Groundwater in the uranium deposits acted as a moderator to slow the chain reaction of decays, similarly to how moderators are used in modern day reactors.
I think phea's suggestion would do a lot to alleviate stalemates tho it might be a cp_steel situation where people get incredibly confused with all the entrances that open/close and in very specific circumstances. Also in that scenario are teams on last going to risk doing "another midfight" on point 2.5 where if they wipe the other team will cap their last.
I think the idea of a neutral objective forcing a fight is a cool one and possibly the simplest way to do this would be to create a neutral pickup similar to something like the quad damage. You could make it spawn with a certain amount of time left on the roundtimer and have it give a player a certain number of seconds of crits etc.
If you make pickups like these spawn in the right positions and with the right timings then you can have them dictate the gameplay and teams would be able to play around them without making things seem totally unfair. They also make sense as pickups are a thing that already exist in the mannpower mode (even though that mode is fucking terrible) so probably wouldnt be too difficult to add into the existing game.
e.g. picture the scenario that 2 teams are stalemated between mid and 2nd on badlands- a pickup that could win or lose a fight spawns at 6 minutes left on the roundtimer in badlands house in the area close to resup/haunter. Teams can rotate players to get this pickup but it puts players from both teams in a compromising position to play for this, and allows the enemy team space to make a push or contest the players playing for the pickup.
