#26 no froyo @ i61? in TF2 General Discussion

I'm not suggesting that any teams below the top 2 from NA should go if they don't have a high chance of winning. It's pretty understandable (just as I wouldn't expect most of the prem teams to come to rewind lan). I just think it would absolutely suck if 0 North American teams came to i61.

I think 2 intercontinental lans a year with 1 in each region where we can expect at least the top team from the other region to attend is definitely feasible.

If no NA teams come to this year's lan its gonna be really lame for the iseries lan as this season has been one of the most interesting ones of prem ever and there's quite a few teams that could improve a lot between now and lan.

Also it's odd to expect EU teams to come to rewind but not have NA teams come to iseries when NA's league has a prizepool they can put towards their travel costs (and b4nny is making much more from this game than anyone else). It's a shame that the lan was announced late but I can still find flights for under $1000.

#7 tf2 at i61 possible? in TF2 General Discussion

From what I understand the delay in the announcement of the tournament is that multiplay are changing how they want to do tournaments for the iseries lan and are doing some sort of internal restructuring with respect to that (not sure exactly what that means. Also the admins who used to run tf2 at iseries stopped doing it after last year so they need to find new ones which is why people aren't sure if it'll happen.

#12 TF2's hidden stats part 1 in TF2 General Discussion

Its very easy to determine how much space was created, the best roamer is the one with the most deaths at the end of the map.

#15 Arm aim /vs/ Wrist aim in TF2 General Discussion

this is a good explanation of arm vs wrist from a cs player

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oehx9OzB1Lc

I'm similar to this guy where I find the complete opposite to people in this thread, for me small movements are way easier with the wrist (you can do them faster with it as well) but big flicks are often better with the arm because its a larger pivot and they're larger movements.

ETF2L team numbers have been dwindling for a while now but I think we're losing more from the bottom than the top.
