If froyo personally don't want to come to i55 I get it although there might be more motivation now that matchmaking is a thing. I don't think people should say no if they want to for practical/time reasons. Other NA teams seem to have expressed an interest too, if froyo don't want to come let's at least get a fundraiser for them.
Idk about other people but I always felt the main reason the map stalemated between 2nd and last was because pushing out of lobby if you're holding last is very hard when you can hold on the spire with height adv.
Compare to other maps with spires on 2nd: Badlands the spire is small and hard to get on so your whole team can't hold there. In process you can push behind through lobby to pc or from rollout, and you have flanks at lower lobby and shutter. On this map, you're forced to push with significant height disadv and a wall blocking your spam (also theirs but they can sit ontop of it) through main, through the flank which also has height disadv and is easy to spam or through the house area which doesn't have height disadv, but you have to walk a long distance in an area you can easily get spammed. House push is probs the best route but it's pretty easy to lock down, you can't get spam on the point going through it and its pretty easy to get fucked by a trap making pushing out slower if you want to clear.
Idk if this is just me, but it seems like its a problem when I play, although I might just be doing entirely the wrong thing.
Also, the moving of cave might force teams to hold a little further back but I doubt it.
bastidNote that I would actually like to see stock Engie, Pyro, and Heavy tweaked though. I think all the classes could stand to be balanced out at a stock level. Soldier is a good standard but even he's slightly overtuned.
Yes please. These classes actually would be significantly more interesting in 6es if they could actually push easily and didn't cause stalemates as easily.
Hi, kind of an odd one but my dad is considering building a pc. He doesn't actually play videogames but his job involves heavy video editing using premier pro and anything to speed up the process of editing and rendering long videos in 4k would help. I'm not specifically asking about individual parts as I don't know what his exact budget will end up being but is there anything I should specifically know that's specifically useful for video editing instead of games? I imagine it's of less importance that certain components (GPU, although rendering can be done on them) are high end but things like RAM become a lot more important.
might be an issue with the ubercharge hud element?
As an eu player, this makes me a lot more interested to watch some of the less big matches in invite as there are up and coming teams.
Valve should really add a console command for customisable voice latency (input & output). Idk if the issue is clientside or serverside, but you could just as easily make it a cvar anyway.
From the video it sounds like it's initially going to be 9v9 without class limits with them phasing in other gamemodes as time goes on.
I actually broke down crying when I read this.
I should probably see a therapist.
Whitelists also?
What modes will be available?
Oh god what is happening I'm actually extremely hyped.
hoolimodmic is overpriced

This can work but one advantage I've found with modmic is that the magnet they come with sticks way better than velcro strips to my headphones.
I've used what marty linked as well, lower quality but clips to cable so stays on relatively well and won't have trouble picking your voice up.
