A HUD inspired from an old proof of concept by collycat(? i think) for horizontal health bars. I took the concept and ran with it making a full fledged HUD featuring it.

This HUD comes with a lot of customization features, check out the GitHub wiki!

Note: The HP bar only works well on specific resolutions. If you do not use 1920x1080, please read installation.txt on how to fix it for your resolution.
I included a cl_hud_minmode toggle in case you don't like the hp and ammo bars (this is a WIP).

and ignore a game breaking bug? how do you intend valve to fix something if it's never brought to light?

As Jarrett has stated, this works on more than just upward. Any map where you can stand underneath the spawn (such as Gullywash) works as well.
A friend of mine claims that this can be done horizontally as well, but I have not tested that yet. If that is the case, then this is effects even more maps.

Hello all. I was playing on Upward today and had this exploit used against me. I've never seen it before and was able to recreate it on a local test server with bots.

As you can see, it is pretty game breaking as a demoman will be able to listen for when RED players respawn and detonate then. Also Upward spawns tend to gravitate to the right-side corner, moving left when more players are respawning at the same time. This means that even though it appears that only this one specific area is effected, the demoman can still abuse it since most spawns occur above that location.

I know most people are talking about major gameplay changes, but I just want more things to do with my friends. Having contracts that you can complete with your buds has gotten me back into playing the game a lot more, and I'm sure a lot of others feel the same way.

I tried the same thing and had the same results. Hopefully they fix this, it's so ugly seeing a unshaded part everytime you open the queue menu.

Does anyone know how to edit the DashboardDimmer element? I have checked all over the place and can't find the folder that controls this.

i'm glad valve did this. It makes it less spray and pray and adds more to the good aim aspect of the game.
