+ Added the following seven fonts as overrides for the fonts in the HUD:
	- Sansation (voidHUD Classic font)
	- TF2 fonts (Both TF2 Build and TF2 Secondary
	- Days One (Old STAR_ HUD font)
	- Surface (Old broeselHUD font)
	- Product Sans (Google font, looks especially nice in this HUD)
	- Handel Gothic (Quake-like font)
	- Comic Sans MS (Because why not)

How to install & a preview image for these fonts is available here.

I finally fleshed out the GitHub Wiki for customizations with this HUD, so go check it out!

ctrthis is great! my only gripe is the killstreak icon/number being so close to hp

I have a pretty modular customization setup so I could easily add a customization to move the killstreak counter to where it used to be in voidHUD classic. reference

This initially started off as a rewrite for my older HUD, but branched off into basically it's own thing. This HUD comes pretty much fully finished, there are plenty of customization options, such as changing up your colors, transparent viewmodels, HUD crosshairs etc. I'll probably write an installer for it in the future...

Technically, I know I already have a thread for voidHUD, but this is basically a brand new release and that thread hasn't been updated in 5 years, so I didn't want to necro bump it. Not to mention the older version of this HUD has been relegated to it's own thing under the name voidHUD Classic.

I've already done that. He no longer has it and he said he got it from a Russian TF2 YouTuber with ~700subs who used flat textures. Not much to go off of, especially since I'd have to be searching in about the 2013-2014 range.

#668 Wut hud/crosshair/cfg thread in Customization

So I was told instead of posting a thread, I should ask here. Here's the original thread. Basically I want to know what the source of this hitsound is. That's taken from a clip from several years ago and I have long lost the clip.

It's Mangachu's old hitsound, you can hear it in this clip.

kitty from the original thread suggested it could be the shine from melee, however nothing I do to pitch shift or speed up the audio in audacity results in anything similar to Mangachu's hitsound. If anyone has the source or the original file, please let me know!

I don't really know if this is the right place to ask about this, but I've been hunting for a hitsound I used to use like 5-6 years ago but to no avail. kronI'm still unable to figure out how to change the notification background, in which file do I change this, or is this a .vtf thing?

Where is the hud animation(?) for when players I'm looking at are below a certain HP drops to a different colour (E.g red)

You can find all the files that control notifications in resource/ui/notifications. The background is the "Notification_Background" element, and is changed among all the files in that folder. I had some issue editing that element directly as it seems to be hardcoded in relation to size and what not, so changing it to "visible" "0" and adding your own ImagePanel for the background in base_notification.res is a good start.

** Version changed from Beta to Release ** All gamemodes and features of the HUD are finished. This does not mean I will not work on it anymore, just that all the major points are covered now. **
+ Added a new main menu background and game loading screen. This main menu will only be visible when there is not an event going on, otherwise Halloween and Christmas backgrounds will display.
+ Updated the main menu to contain the new items in the cycling ad.
+ Added a customization to remove the player class on the bottom right (both 3d and 2d versions)
+ Fixed the dead icon not appearing in voice status
+ Added the regular timers for people not using tf_use_match_hud
+ Updated the playlist queue to match the rest of the HUD theme
+ Added mannpower support
+ Added robot destruction support
+ Added player destruction support
+ Added passtime support
