Lol at complaining it favours experienced teams more. Yeah of course it does, and that's a good thing! Teams should be rewarded for having better chemistry and sticking together, not just mashing good DM players together every time something goes wrong.
The 1 map a week thing is much better and ETF2L will probably move to doing that too, because you can practice the map on that week easily and dedicate more time to it than juggling a few at once.
And I think there's nothing wrong with gravelpit apart from it being very long and a bitch to schedule/scrim on. Apart from that it's a very fun map which shouldn't be excluded from the map pool just because it's not 5cp. Whilst it doesn't have the same variety in the transitional plays as a 5cp map does, and almost everything is set, it really emphasises the fact that you have to have better execution of your tactic and your counter-tactic than the other team and I like seeing that.
Zebbosai is the God of TF2.
Turbomonkey to pop by accident at least twice.
I still don't know what all the columns mean, can I get a translation from someone kind please?
There's literally no reason NOT to sign up if you ever scrim, just use it as a scrim finder. The more people who use it the better it is, if everyone moved over it'd be perfect. Much better than IRC imo and will continue to improve.
I'm serious this is the right move as long as you can afford it, it's guaranteed large prize pool which will attract people to play and get them involved with ESA.
My only problem with your model was that it wouldn't attract enough players due to a small prize pool (as only people who are gonna win donate blah blah said it so many times even I'm sick of it) and it seemed unsustainable as a business. Now that I know you have a fair bit of cash to begin with, the second point seems a little less of a pressing issue and I just hope your model can provide some kind of incentive for people to pay beyond the cash prize to ensure the first point improves.
Also sandbagging but some small changes should be able to sort that out.
Sweet stuff with the opening tournament, and nice partnership.
I've already told Eyal that if he launched a European ladder it'd get a big playerbase instantly as long as the site is easy to manage and doesn't put people off. It's a great idea and would be a cool scrim-finding tool for almost any division.
I'd be wary of starting with a clean slate for TF2 though as you have no experienced anti-cheat team or client do you? Just seems like a bit of an invitation to hackers who've already been caught in other leagues.
I told seb I was too good for them, they agreed and we left it at that.
Did you see it in the article m8? If it ain't in the article it ain't the truth!
this probably should have been a more pressing issue than asking for valve support, just asking them to fix some bugs which affect everyone
