VTV insights are basically just what you can get from any stream, if you find the right place in a vod. There are tonnes of good players streaming recently so if you want the content, it's right there. Maybe not from everyone but there is loads of content from good players of every class.

And if you want players explaining their play, it's more up to the players to produce stuff like Ipz and Zaibatsu, like GeaR.

Somebody should contact the official wiki and try to get that site accepting all sorts of competitive contributions, possibly get some admins from here in there too. I'm sure they wouldn't mind, and you're doing the same thing as here but you're giving the information out to a huge audience who already use the official wiki, who will all see competitive TF2 for the first time probably, and as something awesome.

Vote the worst players who are prolific on the TFTV forums, have them make a team - hilarious viewing.

Going through some threads, open a load up in different tabs and checking other websites...then some music starts playing - so I'm muting all the adverts, refreshing pages trying to find the responsible one, can't find anything, looking for ages. Then Pledge's voice, "HELLO LADIES AND GENTLEMEN AND WELCOME TO TEAMFORTRESSTV TONIGHT I AM YOUR HOST PLEDGE AND WITH ME TONIGHT...." still takes me another 10 minutes to find the source.

Is there an easy fix for the mouse cord going on the G400? Just started happening to mine as well; seems to happen on every mouse I get though after only a few months for some reason - they're not under any tension but something about the way I move them must bust them quickly...

If you want actual competitive games then they're not on public servers because you have to play with the same 6 people on each team the whole time. If you want some pub servers that are more "comp-oriented" try some DM or MGE servers (should find some close to you in the Active Servers bar on the right).

If you want some casual competitive games, try tf2lobby.com. For something slightly more serious, with communication over a microphone using Mumble is compulsory, try tf2pickup.net. After you've played a few of those (and let people know you're new so they can show you the ropes) try adding people and play with friends.

Is there a list of games which work well on it?

I think RLM would get the playoff spot if solar lose, since they have the same points but less losses, they just got a major warning rofl.
