I was at a toxicology clinic for uni stuff and was told about a new treatment for heroin addicts (with Buprenorphine, I was only aware of methadone being used over here) and apparently it has a fairy high success rate. Several sources including the NHS also say that you shouldn't use mouthwash after brushing your teeth (again, it washes away the fluoride) and if you do insist on using mouthwash it's supposed to be a hours after you've last brushed.
