Scouts prob wouldn't be as dominant because both soldiers would have to run shotgun + they'd have to soak up more heals so scouts would get tanked way less. Banners might be more popular

Mr slin, nuze and everyone else that does analysis/tutorial videos that introduce new players to the format and help somewhat experienced players get better
Any and all "pub" youtubers that give positive exposure to lans and the competitive community in general to a much wider audience than anyone else could
And last of all (and I know I'll get downfragged for this) everyone in the TF2Center developement team. They get nothing but negative attention but they've coded, updated and hosted the largest tf2 pug site for half a decade

CollaideEnterimI know how it works, but why thoughCollaide[...]answering this a day late: that's always been in the game because the game's definition of "self-inflicted blast damage" is more specifically "self-inflicted blast damage that doesn't damage any other players". blast jumps that splash damage enemy players even a little bit don't get the self-inflicted damage reduction for that reason.
Along with that bug, I would also like to know why soldiers with gunboats deal 80 damage to themselves if they also hit an enemy (even if they perform a rocket-jump, which are said to have reduced self-inflicted damage according to the item's description)
Because it would be kinda retarded to point blank someone for 112 and fly away to safety while only taking 18 yourself

b4nnyGo watch WarOwl or Greekgod or any new TF2 player playing competitive mode for the first time. They didn't care nor notice any issues with the enforced graphics settings. Your perspective is biased because you are too attached to your FPS configs. Level playing field, standardization and accessibility is a necessity for the integrity of the competitive mode long term. That said, they should definitely add as many commands/settings as possible to the options menus so that FPS config level graphics can still be achieved while maintaining fairness.
Well maybe then valve should work on optimizing their game because their current idea of a "level playing field" puts everyone on the same level - the sewers
