it is also very important to note what class the person is playing, a demo or a medic would not get much tension because they don't need to have pixel accurate aim, but I doubt a good scout/sniper that play with less than 15 cm or so doesn't feel pain if playing over a few hours a day.

over 55 minutes.
etf2l staff decided that golden caps will have a timelimit of 10 but the team that held mid at the end of the 10 minutes didn't win the GC instead it would reset and there would be another golden cap. Seagulls decided not to push in the first GC round because they were sure they would win if they hold mid at the end of the 10 minutes, which wasn't the case, same happened for 2nd GC and they won the 3rd.
atleast the rules have been changed since.

HildrethI think the issues B@gser5 have had is they are chopping and changing their roster too much, they had a solid team at the end of High playoffs, I get Nesh wasn't playing but I don't get why they moved Timus to backup (My attempts to decipher from the interview leave me without the answers) - Uubers was a solid player for us but asking him to step up to Prem with a new team with their own distinct style. Don't even get me started on the Demo's, Shappie is a good player for the level but they seemed to have chemistry with Unlimited, whenever we played them they always kept their Demo/Medic alive, making them a hard team to break down - Strengths of B5 were always their teamwork, good decision making (considering most people think Russians play like retards, they played a smart, safe game) then they massively edit their roster - should be trying to keep it as close to the successful formula they had in High, now they're losing games - from experience I can say massively changing your roster won't bring you success, sadly they already done it too much. Maybe Dima is unlucky with some of his players, but these sorts of changes sadly too me indicate a possible fold in the future, which is a shame I really rate the B@gser5 core of Mr Epic, Dima, Timus and Unlimited.
Good luck to them, but I think some leadership naivety has cost B5 this season.
they moved timus to back up because he couldn't play not because they wanted to. "Timus said that he have no time to play anymore and he gonna leave for rl." from the interview with him.

- No off-classing to mid
- Any intentional throwing will get you kicked out of the tournament and you will be replaced.
- You cannot continue to off-class after a stalemate/hold. Once your team is taking back your own point(s), you must switch back to your set class.
- You may not switch classes with someone else during a game in the tournament. However, if you and another player decide to switch classes/roles between games, that must be agreed upon between all of your team.
Why though? Just make the opposing team punish them.SmesiDue to the small size of the tournament, teams will be created randomly with admin influence.Since teams will be newly formed, they probably won't have the coordination to deal swiftly and effectively with Snipers and other offclasses. Also, the tournament is promoting a PUG group, so they probably want players to enjoy an environment similar to what may be found in Panda Pugs. And teams would get screwed over if they didn't get a good Sniper placed on their team.
those pug rules should not be there for the reasons you stated, they should be there to prevent people from screwing their own team over by being less competitive.
banning a class in a specific situation in a TOURNAMENT is so retarded, the only rule that makes sense is:
Any intentional throwing will get you kicked out of the tournament and you will be replaced.
which serves the purpose of all the other rules incase someone is not doing well when offclassing and yet continues to do so, which could be considered as inentional throwing, but if they are doing well you should let them offclass if their own team is ok with it
