I paid around 1k for the venue "bar"(table) to not have enough alcohol stocked and sell me sewage water as beer for cutthroat prices
I really appreciated how this was a tf2 only event and how they set up everything for us before we even got there. Crazy convenience for us players.
That being said, can we just ditch iseries for this? Just so much more value

I don't think 15+ dollars (plus more if you improve) is a trivial amount of money for a lot of the ETF2L player base. Our player base is mostly aged 14-21 who don’t have the money to spend on TF2. A lot are in school or work part time while studying.
I don't think that is true considering the people in question spend way more on cosmetics.
To me it always felt like people see no reason to pay fees if it is just a paycheck for the top teams or sandbaggers
shoutout to my team, I had a great time finally meeting them in person
shoutout to SVIFT, very lovely people and huge respect for the energy they brought despite having to face off against the Top3 in the invite group
shoutout to Froyo, playing them was the most fun I've had in 6s in a long time
shoutout to twiikuu for setting up LAN servers to play on
shoutout to production, casters, hosts etc. . Looking at the vods they have done a banging job producing this LAN
shoutout to all the people I've met in spoons, had a great time talking to all of you
shoutout to all the people that came up to me and started talking about the pyro stuff before I even said a word
shoutout to beavern who borrowed me his monitor which saved me a lot of headaches with the rental one. I definitely still owe a more beers
shoutout to all the people that gave me beers, unfortunately I wasn't able to drink the canned ones because they're just too grim
shoutout to all the people I've played with or against over the years, there are too many to list them all but it was a blast to finally meet and talk to all of you
Overall I had an absolute great time for my first proper LAN and I wish it would have lasted longer

We scrimmed froyo because we were worried they will never come back and this is our last chance.
Seeing the grand finals, I think we made the right choice.
supraixy should get an engineer of the competition award for setting up perfect sentries on snakewater, i had a feeling before watching logs that he spent more time on engie than scout
Ixy is the flank scout I've always respected the most and I was quite happy for him when witness picked him up because an experienced top team to play with is what he needed to elevate to the next level. It's a shame that he was getting relegated to sentry duty in that match even though he has got a wide and diverse set of skills they could take advantage of
