#17 TF2 crashing on startup in Q/A Help

Oh, and please note it usually takes ~2 seconds for me to launch TF2.

Now it takes easily 10-15 seconds.

#16 TF2 crashing on startup in Q/A Help

I'm currently experiencing the same problem..

After TF2 loads it will just lock up. I have to force close it through a personal task killer I wrote to be able to close it.

[*] Not my HUD (Removed all custom files)
[*] Not my FPS scripts (Remove all autoexecs)
[*] Verifying cache completed, no success.
[*] Not video drivers, fully up to date on all hardware's firmware

So yeah.. latest update seems to have done something to some people?

Let's start a tally or gather some general information.

Post up your specs and lets see what we all have in common.

OS: Windows 8.1
GPU: GeForce GTX 550 Ti
CPU: i5-4570 @ 3.2GHZ

Dual monitor setup.

#9 TF2 VR in TF2 General Discussion

^^

I feel like I would look like I'm at a rock concert when playing MGE from all the rocket jumping you would need to do.

And yeah.. the desk would be in danger.

#8 C2P (Controller to Peripheral) in Off Topic

Updated to version 1.3!

There was an error that peripheral mode was always enabled.

Also added to when you push down the left analog it switches between profiles.

Alright guys, pretty big update here.

I added in quite a few things (Thanks again dMenace for the suggestions/ideas.)

Here is the new GUI

http://robertsalatka.com/img/c2p/GUI.png

As you can see now there is a mouse speed slider than you can adjust your mouse speed according to your liking.
(If using Profile #1 you cannot change the right analog mouse speed)

And a profile selection menu. Currently only two profiles are enabled. A mouse/keyboard profile and a web browser based profile. The key mapping for both can be found in the images downloaded with the program.

Here is the image that shows the new profile you can use for web browsing and what the buttons do.

And the new video link for description: Youtube Link C2P v1.1

#5 C2P (Controller to Peripheral) in Off Topic

Some very good points, thank you sir.

I was thinking of making the mouse speed a variable you could change but figured with the two speeds preset it would suffice.

I think what I will do is make "profiles" that you can select inside the program for which you can choose for which fits your liking the best.

As for the Xbox 360, if I give you a program to run which tells you which button is pressed on a controller would you be willing to relay that information to me? That way I can apply it to my program? I only have he one style of controller ^^;

And I will look into the enter thing. Do you happen to have more than one browser that you can verify its not just your browser?

Thanks!

You're welcome. Did you try it out and or have any problems understanding/using it?

I wrote one of these awhile back but it was a little buggy so I decided to re-write this and revamp it.

So what am I? I am a program that will allow you to use that handy controller as a Keyboard/Mouse combo!
Please note; this is intended for lazy people sitting on a couch or leaning back in a chair!

Here's an image depicting what each button can do.
(Image is also included with download)

And also a video tutorial: Link. (Old)
Link. (New)

Pretty simple and straight forward.

Download link/information on my website located here.

#8 TFTV Topic Watcher in Off Topic

There was a small error in the saving of a new link that if you accidentally clicked it you couldn't press cancel it was stuck in a loop. Fixed that.

Also added a version identifier in the bottom right corner.

Version 1.2 is now on the website as the download link!

#7 TFTV Topic Watcher in Off Topic

Alright guys, I'm gonna roll out this beta version.

http://robertsalatka.com/img/TopicWatcher/MainGUI.png

The program at the moment can handle (I believe as many topics as you want)

It can only handle this website and the AutoIt website's forums. Plans for more forums to come.

If you have a specific forum you would really like to see on here, PM me about it and I'll see if I can push out a personal one for you.

So the GUI is pretty self explanatory I believe. If you have any questions let me know. You cannot remove the first item in the list (Shown in this post as An R.S.S. Production)

You can add a new topic, which all you need is the URL and the name you wish to give it, the program should do the rest. Be warned, if you put in a URL that isn't the first page of a topic you will most likely make the program explode, just sayin'.

Removing a topic does not fully remove it, it just won't be checked or shown in the list (I don't think I allowed it to be checked.. I'll look into the in a couple days when I have more time) And if at anytime you try and re-add said topic it will alert you of it and ask if you simply want to add it back.

Viewing topic will open the topic in your default browser.

Sound will select where instead of a window stating a new post is found (It also now shows which topic it is as well) a sound of your choosing is played.

Change Time Interval will change how long in between refreshes in x minutes.

Change refresh style chooses whether or not you want it to automatically scan or manually.

And refresh is.. well.. if you can't understand it, don't use the internet.

So yeah, page link is: This doohickey.

Enjoy and let me know what you think/any problems you run into!
