#20 Thoughts on Overwatch? in Other Games

I don't really have an opinion on it from a competitive standpoint yet. Kind of curious to see if they re-balance anything upon release. Right now it definitely has a few elements that I find unpleasant to play around. Anything restricting movement makes me frustrated.

I will say that playing Lucio is the most fun I've ever had playing a support-type class in any game, so that's pretty neat.

#62 Early workings for a LAN near VA/DC in LAN Discussion
SkyRanger-TSARBUXI don't think I'm good enough for this. What level of play would this lan be?

It honestly doesn't matter how good you are (as long as you aren't intentionally throwing games). In my limited experience, the best part of LAN is the social aspect. It's a great way to meet fellow gamers and make new friends. I'm sure there will be teams and players of all skill levels present.

#6 Jojo lft in Recruitment (looking for team)

Jojo has some serious skills in this game. I think I've seen him play almost every class in pugs/scrims, and he always does incredibly well. I have no doubt he'd be a great demo pickup for any high Open team. Also a really awesome, smart guy, and one of my favorite people to hang out with. Try him out!!!

#7 Weirdest Drink in Off Topic

I was drunk and out of tonic water, so I put gin in diet coke. And then I added some lemon juice for no reason.

It was vile.

#9 Competitive Artwork and Promotional Images in TF2 General Discussion

I think there's a lot of great stuff out there already. Mostly I wish there was one dedicated gallery somewhere to collect it all, and make it easily/freely available. That way, if someone thinks "Man, I need to get some nice SFM art for my TF2 post/website.", they have a resource for that. I mean, maybe it wouldn't be useful at all, but I still like the idea of it.

#13 TF2 confirmed for i58 in LAN Discussion
JarateKingTo be fair to multiplay, it looks like they did that for each game (the only image I can't find quickly in a search is league's), so I don't think it's any particular ignorance about tf2.

Oh, yeah, of course. Didn't mean to imply that it's only TF2 that gets that kind of treatment. I'm sure it's a common issue.

#10 TF2 confirmed for i58 in LAN Discussion

Looks like they just did a quick google search for the images they're using. Kind of lazy, but can't really blame them if they don't know anything about TF2 or 6s.

It would be nice to have an online resource or ZIP file of more appropriate, competitively-oriented promo images that could be sent to website staff when they are advertising a comp TF2 event. Or maybe something like that already exists? Haven't really looked.

#53 mumble comm quirks in TF2 General Discussion

I often get unnecessarily hurt on scout and let enemy soldiers pop me up me into the sky. At that point I yell "Catch me catch me catch me" at my poor medic as I fly though the air towards them, cratering imminent.

#67 favorite fast food restaurant?? in Off Topic
gecksSheetz..

Oh god yes. I have an unhealthy obsession with their coffee selection and chicken wraps. Their breakfast food is great too. Used to go multiple times a week back when I was close to one. Now I have to drive about 45+ mins if I want my fix. ;_;

#9 Medic LFT - ESEA-Open in Recruitment (looking for team)

This guy is definitely a solid medic pickup! I have scrimmed multiple times with him, and I don't recall having any complaints. Fun to hang with, heals gamers efficiently, and open to critique. Give him tryouts!
