Boy necroing threads is fun... How do people even find these old things?
My short take on pyro, its airblast is necessary to be useful at all, but is implemented incorrectly, free stunlock is dumb and too simple, should have been vector addition type stuff, where velocity from the pyro's blast is added to your current direction and you get redirected, retaining ability to airstrafe, or if you're a soldier falling on a pyro, its airblast only stops you or heavily slows you, stuff like that.
Also the the blast should require aim. The fact that a pyro can airblast rockets that wouldn't even have hit them is dumb, the effective box and range as it stands makes no sense.
edit: I don't like typos.

I've been experiencing what I think are microstutters, where the game freezes for a split second, and I'm not quite sure what's causing it.
mat_queue_mode -1
cl_threaded_bone_setup 0
fps_max 121
I have a dual core, 4 thread cpu (intel i5 3210m) and intel hd graphics 4000, and can keep 121 pretty steadily, but I just get the occasional hang.
Is it a result of the config or could something else be at fault?
Seems they got a fairly sizable amount of goals, from casting to organizing matches/tournaments.
They're doing a 24 hour stream right now.
What if you had another doorway smack dab in the middle at mid, so there's 3 major entrances on the ground level at mid.
It's actually Ray's hud with the QTCHud menu and a custom background. The screen between server changes where there's just stats is replaced by this gif
Edit: Not QTCHud, which looks similar, I meant Fluxhud
I can't wait for Dashner to wake up from his hibernation and see this

For me, While the stats seem to say demo damage averages are down, all the demo mains just got better or something because stickies still hurt a lot.
Edit: One thing I noticed is demo complaining about that whole demo v demo sticky sniping shenanigans being harder.
deetrI feel like there should be a way to log in to Steam or some sort of verification so that idiots don't steal names or use stupid names. Probably not an issue now but once more people start using the site I could see it being a problem.
Integrating steam login should do it.
I hope it's not bad form to still be posting in this, but what's the difference between update rates 66 and 67? Wouldn't 67 make more sense since servers run at 66.66666... As opposed to just 66?
I heard someone describe "The Seagull Jump" as a jump from process mid to second, but I wasn't exactly sure what they were talking about...
Is a so called Seagull Jump that he used all the time even something that exists and is this video an inkling of what it was?
What brings a little hope for Mukhtar's thread is the top reply to it
Resolve conflicts, don't exacerbate them.
wesporYou know, I did this once. My friends and I cut one of our crew out because he was acting like a total asshole all the time. Turns out he was just going through a rough patch and without anyone around to support him he just committed suicide. It's been around 8 years now and I still feel guilty.
Moral of the story, talk it out first. One on one or with a group, call it an asshole intervention but don't just cut someone you once cared about out of your life without a fight.
bind "r" "demo"
alias "demo" "record_demo"
alias "record_demo" "record;echo RECORDING"
alias "stop_demo" "stop;echo STOPPING"
bind "alt" "+toggleState"
alias "+toggleState" "alias demo stop_demo"
alias "-toggleState" "alias demo record_demo"
Pressing r starts the demo, alt+r ends it. This is just if you want '1' key to do all that, tbh just bind two keys to start and stop.
You can rebind keys to w/e.
I haven't had the chance to test this, but I'm confident that it works.
