There are actually quite a few from the looks of the Maps subsection (that, for some reason, rarely get played for feedback even though they'd probably all be better than reckoner or granary with time). Cardinal is a good start.
Whether or not the map pool is going to change each week is irrelevant. Every map every week should be a quality up-and-coming map, as that is the stated goal of these sundays. A few of these current maps do not meet the objective of this event.
The fact that cardinal isn't in the first week and priderock IS in the rotation shows that the people making the map decisions (part of the community along with admins' approval) should not continue doing so if you want this to actually be useful.
we mostly based our picks off of community suggestions. Seeing as neither I nor the other admins involved (to my knowledge) have played the maps, we made our picks based off of these suggestions. I should note that cardinal was originally on this list, but got delayed to next week. Feel free to message me with other suggestions though.

Champ.gg is proud to announce that we will be hosting a “mapchamp” day, this Sunday, featuring some of the “up and coming” maps (see below) the community has proposed for testing. HiipFire will be the European host of this event, and Alexandros the North American host (meaning that these are the people you rage at when something goes wrong). So just come on by, queue up, and playtest some new maps. Who knows, you might even find maps that are better than the current ones in the pool! Also note that maps will be rotated in and out, based on how they play out, whether or not they’re liked, etc.
