PC crashes randomly on Windows 10

Hi everyone. I've been having an issue now for a couple months.

So every so often my computer crashes. More than a big inconvenience then anything, but sometimes my computer freezes up while tf2 is open, usually while I am playing (and not just on tf2), and basically I am unable to alt tab.

Just this night another crash occurred, I had discord open and could hear people talking, but again was unable to actually fix it. Only way I can 'fix' this is by doing a hard shutdown. Ive reinstalled windows 10 and am still having issues. Should I just switch back to 7?

Just super frustrating when you are in a tf2 game and your computer freezes up, or any game for that matter, and you have to take a few minutes to shut down, and start back up again.

Thanks in advance!

Honestly I just think Windows 10 is just a POS when it comes to gaming.

Windows 10 is very interesting indeed.
If you've upgraded to win 10 and only "refreshed" it instead of a clean install then there might still be broken drivers floating around.

TF2 is also very interesting and sometimes produces that "can still hear people, maybe even talk but can't see anything" bug when you have a browser with video hardware acceleration (read: any browser) opened in the background.

Or maybe just glorious win 10 DWM.

Some day I will get the most +frags in a PC thread again, but today is not that day.

It's been a completely brand new install. Have had windows 10 for about a year. And have done multiple reinstall moments. The main problem is the when the game crashes(which seems to happen more time then when on Windows 7), you are simply forced to do a hard shutdown rather than just alt tab and quit the game.
