Problem w/ headset power slider

I use the Logitech G933, and I've been having problems with the power button/slider for over 8 months now. The headset does not fail to turn on and off, but has intense audio issues.

Most issues stem from uneven audio distribution. If I slightly touch the power slider, the audio takes a turn for the worst. Does anybody else have this issue with any similar models? If so, is there a fix? I've searched, but my efforts turned out futile.

On another note, I've recently purchased another Logitech headset, the G233. This headset has it's own set of problems, as the microphone stopped working after a month. I do like Logitech mice, but perhaps Logitech should move away from headsets. My next purchase will definitely be from another company.

Maybe you should just move away from headsets because they're all shit.

I know, man. I’ve been looking at some other headphones without mics, I’m just not sure if I should get a microphone that is entirely external, or something like a modmic.

A mod mic will give you better audio quality unless you are willing to get a boom so you can properly position a full size microphone. A mod mic also has less associated costs since you can plug it directly into your computer's microphone port.
