Apple, Facebook, Spotify, and YouTube have COMPLETELY removed Alex Jones and InfoWars from their services.

This is completely despicable. The corporate media outlets and its buddy-buddy corporations think they're entitled to the right to censor free speech in the United States. This is an egregious violation of the United States Constitution, and it's happening time and time again. I'm SPEECHLESS at the extent at which the leftists are censoring America to create their own safe space.

Well, guess what, SNOWFLAKES? 1776 will commence again and the liberal media, along with their lies, will come crashing down! This is a fight that you globalists will never win, because the truth will NEVER die! WE FREE-THINKING AMERICANS WILL NEVER GIVE UP!!!

this makes me miss pankeyman. i havent heard from him since may 3.

in any case it doesnt set a good precedent. Obviously these platforms have a right to allow or disallow whoever they want but the fact that they all did it at once is pretty fucked up. Itll be interesting to see who else this happens to.

This is a tribute to Pankeyman, a free-thinking individual who was banned by the globalists for liberating the minds of the media's zombified victims. His spirit lives in all of us!

Obviously don't agree with everything the man says, but banning him is pretty dumb. This will only further convince those who legitimately agree with him that the world is against his beliefs. Also, this makes it look even more forbidden, attracting people to it.

Oops, fixed. But it makes it even better that a non-American like himself thinks about what's best for Americans. On behalf of all free-thinking Americans, I salute him!

i am mixed about this. while deplatforming him does in the eyes of people who actually believe in him further validate that they're marginalized and while i also like the free-speech ethos that us americans enjoy, some of the things he has said has incited violence. while i doubt it's enough to frame a legal case onto Jones (that question relies on the intent of his dialogue) i can see that enough for companies to say "enough" and pull him off of air.

i wonder, really, why this hasn't happened earlier? anyone remember what he said post Sandy Hook?

free speech protects you from government prosecution for your thoughts and ideas. it does not prevent you from corporate businesses and private individuals deplatforming you from their services or judging you and your character and deciding they don't want you around

also op grew up with a bag around his head depriving him of oxygen

Large corporations and government pretty much just suck each other off, so Alex Jones' ban is essentially government prosecution.

Don't you think it's unethical for corporations to shut down voices with which they don't agree? Modern censorship is designed to restrict your freedom of thought, and you appear to be a victim of such malpractice.

The fact of the matter is Jones directly claimed that Sandy Hook parents were government-sponsored actors and this lead to a 5 year long ongoing harassment campaign from Info Wars viewers towards the parents of the murdered children. Two parents who are involved with the defamation case claim that they have had to move 7 times in total due to the excessive amounts of harassment and death threats they receive, finally setting hundreds of miles from where their son was buried.

A second defamation case opened against Alex Jones was when Info Wars published a photo of a man, Marcel Fontaine, on their website who they wrongly claimed was the Parkland shooter, which led to him getting a profusion of death threats and targeted harassment. Only problem was Mr. Fontaine lives over 1,000 miles away from Parkland.

This isn't really a case of free speech anymore, this is a case of what if he's claimed has definitively caused damage. I don't see it as unreasonable for these platforms to push Jones off of their websites.
