very strange i've used hyperglides on my wmo many times without issue but i notice the corners drag on my mousepad after a couple months.

https://www.itaktech.com/products/hotline-games-ie-mouse-feet-2014-edition i bought these a while ago when i couldnt get hyperglides shipped to my island and i like them a lot more, but they skate too much on my hard mat, so id only reccomend them if you have a cloth one.

You can get also DIY it with a teflon / ptfe sheet (not a baking sheet but an actual plastic sheet). Cut the feet out, smoothen the edges a bit, and put a bit of superglue on them to make them stick. I've got that on my WMO and it works well enough.

why are you using the wrong hyperglides for both mice?

http://www.hyperglide.net/?hg=ms_skates_1

and

http://www.hyperglide.net/?hg=rz_skates_1 (pretty sure the death adder has the same mouse feet)

otherwise corepad is a great brand as well that's pretty similar imo

also it's kinda hard to tell but it looks like you left the original mouse feet on for the Razer Abyssus when you're not supposed to. *not sure if you are supposed to remove them on your microsoft mouse though, some of them you shouldn't some of them you should.

I'd just get different mouse feet.
teflon tape sucks. pita to apply. hard to get rounded edges. wears out fast. don't waste your time.
cutting them out of a teflon sheet and add adhesive is fine. thats what hyperglides etc does. but why bother diy unless u just enjoy tinkering. if you want them to be really good you have to round the edges too.
no idea about furniture sliders

I feel like the scratching is more to do with having sharp edges than anything. don't cut them. if you have to: cut it in a circle/oval and file the edges

puretrak hd feet are the thickest and most durable ones ive used (1.2mm)
back in the day i also bought like 200 feet off taobao or ebay for dirt cheap. they will outlast my gaming career for sure.
