kirbyWhy even use scout then? Double jump while bunny hopping only screws up your speed.
No spin up time
Double cap rate without taking extra damage

I kinda wanna try where every class runs the same speed, might be interesting
Just a thought I've had when reading the thread, even if it could be implemented to Comp TF2, there would definitely be a change in the game due to the speed, but what if we considered how this would affect new players? Players that are finally choosing to start competitive and they find out not only having to learn class roles in a team, what they should be doing, and etc. but likely to also have to learn how to bhop also. They might feel that TF2 may be way too different and competitive TF2 would be too much/hard for them and might give up/quit. If we add bhopping, there'd probably be different steps to a certain rollout despite they may have just started learning the current rollouts.

You guys also have to take into the fact of the maps themselves. They weren't built for bunnyhopping. Yeah, if you could maintain the aspect ratios of the speeds it would seem like a good idea, but that just means rolling out would last significantly less. Just pushing in general would completely be changed because these spawn distances would essentially become shorter since bunnyhopping would decrease the time it takes for a team to get back into the fights. It may seem like a slight thing, but it would be a huge change to the meta, for good or bad. It also, as stated before, puts up more of a barrier between comp and pubs. The reason why games like LoL and Dota got so big is because the competitive game IS the public game. TF2 already has a gap, why make it bigger?
You can bhop in tf2 if you think you cant bhop in tf2 your just a noob that doesnt know how http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dg1BJI_lJ-M i made a video to show bhop is possible and its very useful in normal games as a spy you can easily catch up to people with bhop and back stab and the normal jump units for sniper engie pyro and spy is 256~288 with a perfect bhop i jumped 340 units thats really far and shows bhop is worth learning
It isn't going to happen, I don't know why anybody is still talking about it. It wouldn't add fun to the game, it would destroy the whole idea behind how each class is supposed to work, it would alter the whole metagame, and most importantly who really fucking wants to put forth the effort for something like that? Answer: No one, and that's always the deciding factor.

I like your video but a less rude post would likely be more well-received here.
While we're at it
Can we also implement a shop where you can buy power ups like dota?
