A friend at my work got a £500 tip for getting a Saudi prince's Aston Martin started again after a small bump set off the fuel cut off switch. Literally a 20-second job to press the button in.

Helped an employee of a local butcher.

They brought over like 50 pounds of frozen, thick cut bacon.

When I was in secondary school and had a paper round I gathered around £100 of tips in one run at Christmas time lmao
that's the benefit of everybody giving £5, more of a gift than a tip but I guess it counts??

also this isn't a job but they other day someone donated £60 to me to unmod dmoule on my stream

when i first went to support my london office they had just moved into the Sony Music offices.
I did what I needed to do and to say thanks they opened their drawer full of "games we are given but don't have PCs to play on"
went home with like 5 games

One time some dude tipped me 20$ and said "Take your girl out." Jokes on him, I bought fast food and stayed home playing videogames all night.

I did a $200 catering order once, cooked it and delivered it and the lady didn't tip me. My manager was so upset by that he grabbed $40 out of the register and handed it to me and apologized for her being a cunt. He was a great manager, one of those guys that always had his employee's backs.

I've never worked a 'tippable' job. However, just this last year I sold an iPhone 7 to a man who was so happy with my service he tipped $50. That was very strange, especially as I made commision on the sale anyways, but very appreciated.

I haven't worked a job where I get tips before, but once in awhile I get tips from people who buy commissions and artwork from me at conventions. A few years ago I was the only table that had tf2 stuff and this group gave me a total of around $20 extra dollars on top of their purchase because they were so happy someone was drawing tf2.
