why cant i apply this to my main strange weapon with killstreaks and rename and description rename. not to mention all these ppl with strange parts on their weapons. rly disappointing and seems like a cashcrab to get ppl buying those things all over again.

I think at the very least you should be able to paint over non-killstreak non-strange unique weapons, just to save on backpack space, because I doubt the majority would want to keep their non-skinned unique fish when you can have the ultimate bonkfish in your scout melee slot.

Of course, make it an option, so people can use the non-skinned-now-useless items in crafting.

I just sold my original weapon, in this case my australium and bought the new one. The tool to transfer kills from stranges was like ¢80 on the community market. I'm kinda mad I didn't keep my strange parts but I didn't pay for them anyway. I know that this might not help everyone but was able to sell my australium for a Strange MW Star Crossed paint and a Pro Killstreak Kit

I feel like they punished people who got professional killstreak kits early before skins came out, I'd love to replace mine with painted variants but it would be too expensive

zanayes let us apply expensive war paints to our prof ks strange weapons and instantly get rich and fuck the economy over entirely

But the war paint would be more valuable when it isn't applied to anything.

Ok I have a question, which isn't very related but I don't want to make a new thread, can you use the civilian grade stat clock on the new civilian grade paints or does it have to be strange to start with?

I feel like it will work the same, I saw someone complaining about civilian stat clocks on Twitter so I think that means that they were using one lol

I have a feeling they will change this to include existing weapons. At least I hope so.

I thought that was the whole point of war paints. Apply to weapons you have instead of replacing them with skins.

I actually can't believe it, you cant put war paint on already existing items, smh

yahooseems like a cashcrab to get ppl buying those things all over again.

War paints would've definitely sold a lot more if you could actually use them on existing weapons. They shot themselves in the foot by being greedy.
