So for the past week after I updated my drivers on my graphics card and I alt-tab between applications occasionally my mouse turns into a bunch of vertical dotted lines. When searching online other people reporting a similar issue are claiming they all have multiple monitor setups and are using older ATI Radeon cards.
If it helps:
CPU: Intel Core i5 6600
RAM: 1x8GB DDR4 2400
GPU: Gigabyte Windforce RX 470
Mouse: Logitech G403 Prodigy
Windows Version: 10 Home
Monitor: ASUS VG248QE
So far I've tried:[list]
[*] Rolling back/checking for new updates for my Video Card drivers
[*] Updating Mouse drivers
[*] Checking if Windows is recognizing multiple monitors (it doesn't)

Any suggestions would be appreciated, as the only 2 fixes are turning on pointer trails (looks disgusting) and rebooting (I now have a macro to reboot on scroll lock b/c of this issue).

I am using dual link DVI. the RX 470 (and VG248QE for that matter) only have one dual link DVI port. I don't have a working display port cable and VG248QE doesn't use HDMI 2.x, so I can't run 144hz over HDMI.

I've had this issue a few times, I believe the issue was an unstable overclock.
If you haven't overclocked anything I'd try completely uninstalling the video drivers, and installing new ones, otherwise you may need to do a clean install of windows.

I get that with the latest radeon drivers, I have an RX480. Rolled back to 16.12.2 and it's fixed for me.
