i like the usage of the enemy POV cam and the rewind stuff.
killfeed is kinda weird since it's placed near-ish the middle (to make it more visible?) and yet there's no background on it so it's kinda hard to see

the killfeed in the middle of the screen was very offputting
the random song transition after the intro smooths finished was a bit weird

also most of the clips were pretty lackluster
like a clip where you kill one soldier, fast forward 10-15 seconds and kill another scout doesnt really belong in a frag movie (this clip in particular happens at 1:25)
as a result of the clips being awkward you overuse the rewind/fast forward stuff

Loved it, great music choice, good editing. Only thing, the rewind thing got a little excessive, but other than that its great.

-Enjoyed the smooths at the beginning, but I felt like they were too short and choppy going from one map smooth to another
-Longer frag streaks (I personally don't use anything shorter than a 4K streak but it can vary)
-Wouldn't recommend using minmode viewmodels even though it was only on one or 2 clips
-Having the killfeed where it was felt odd and out of place
-Don't over use the rewind/fast forward

If you are going to make cines with stv clips, dont use your mouse at all to pan. When you do this it looks jittery and bad. The clip in the beginning where the scout is running could have looked much better. I'd also recommend using pov clips anyway, because they look better, you can actually smooth them, and they have highlighted kill notices.

In regards to the rewind clips, it looks quite a bit rushed and I don't like the rewind symbol, it doesn't match the feel and takes away from the focus. Here is a really good example of a rewind effect in a tf2 edit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O1aGC99Acy8&t=0m27s

I'm pretty sure you used fraps to record this, I would really recommend using lawena if you aren't look for that raw frag clip look. If you use lawena then it will look much better, and you can choose to have kill notices only so you can take out the round timer and capture points which is something you should have done. Even if you want your health and ammo to be in the clip you can hide round timer and capture points by using the hidepanel command. In scout frag movies a lot of people personally like to have damage numbers (another reason to use POV demos). I would recommend using damage numbers if the focus of the movie is the frags more so than the editing, which seems to be the case for you.

Oh and one last thing, slow motion looks far better when you use velocity. When you go from 100% speed to 66% speed or whatever it isn't smooth. Velocity makes the transition of speed sloped, so it's far smoother. I'd recommend looking up a velocity tutorial for whatever program you use.

I know I sound picky, but your edit was good for you first time. Keep at it :D

Mmmm it's ok, there is a lot you should work on.

- Color correction was ugly, yellowish.
- ugly crosshair for a fragmovie, try sticking with the normal crosshair.
- you should show less hud elements, make it look cleaner.
- nice flow, the movement goes with the music.
- some parts of the movie, the fps slow down... Are you using lawena?
- I dislike the music, but that's just me.

Good luck on the next frag movie!

the intro was the best part, i think you hit the nail on the head for keeping in visually appealing and not too lengthy. the song was great and i wish you would have continued to use it in the frag vid. you have some good ideas with that enemy pov (such as where you kill the medic in badlands lobby) but it could be executed better.

some little things that were mentioned by others that will go a long way:
use default crosshair or no crosshair.
move the killfeed out of the middle of the screen.
less HUD overall

maybe bring your fov a bit closer. it felt like i was watching the action from far away.

otherwise you did good.

Thanks for all the tipps and the feedback.

( I played the demos and recorded them with shadowplay )

can someone give me some commands for my hud?
-> no round timer, etc

I'm trying to make another (better) one :D
- have a nice day, fstiv_

You could remove the round timer with some simple hud editing, but I'm honestly not entirely sure why you'd want to do that. Only other command that would "remove" it would be cl_drawhud 0, but that would also remove the killfeed.

Personally when I'm recording demos I use a high graphics config and a separate script (still trying to refine it though) that locks my viewmodel fov at a certain value and disables the crosshair. I personally find this better than seeing the default crosshairs but you do whatever you want

I agree with what others said about the colors, smoothness, killfeed, and clip selection. I really dislike the rewind effects. The rewind symbol especially makes it seems like you're going to a replay of the clip, rather than a new clip in the same area of the map.
The friendly Medic picture-in-picture POV on Snakewater at 2:10 seemed unnecessary; he didn't do anything spectacular in that clip. The way it was presented was confusing. As soon as the Medic POV faded in, the Scout started shooting, which didn't give me enough time to figure out what exactly the Med POV was. It was especially confusing because you'd previously shown the enemy Medic POV, and now it was the friendly Medic. Maybe have the Medic POV come up as soon as the clip starts or make the clip a longer in the beginning so the viewer can figure out what's going on before the Scout starts shooting. What also helped the Badlands clip at 0:36 was showing the Medic third person before going to the POV.
The next thing that threw me off was the Medic clips of aune starting at 2:24. The video seemed like it was going to be all fstiv_, and in fact the opening credits supported that.
