Why? wont you use a HUD cross hair when it does exactly what you want ?

I don't know any Vtf cross-hairs which stop the expanding.

Because I use different crosshairs for each class,Hud crosshairs won't allow that and I will never be able to center them.

Pretty sure their is a way of getting hud crosshairs to change depending on class.
Not sure how to do it though, could anyone confirm?

If there's any spy specific HUD elements you could link it to that
Or put a crosshair on hud minmode and use minmode on spy

"cl_dynamiccrosshair" "0"

Ok just actually checked and this doesn't work any more.

What I did for a crosshair was just put a crosshair in the hudplayerclass 3d image which can be toggled on and off for any class and doesn't change size. Works pretty well.
