I am definitely going to be there, I live in MD.

It honestly doesn't matter how good you are (as long as you aren't intentionally throwing games). In my limited experience, the best part of LAN is the social aspect. It's a great way to meet fellow gamers and make new friends. I'm sure there will be teams and players of all skill levels present.

The manager we've been talking to went on vacation before we could finalize the dates in person, we have the date basically locked, just need to have the meeting in person to confirm a few things. We'll get this finished as soon as we can, but expect late July for this LAN to be happening!

lot of shit's been going poorly with getting the event finalized as far as meeting up with the manager. Our last attempt to meet was postponed by a major accident on the way there. We're doing our best to have a schedule that matches the manager
