With the rise of really control/stall heavy decks (C'thun, Nzoth) the game seems much slower. Of the games I've played since Whispers came out I haven't run into a really aggro deck at all.

Crypto Another neat thing is that with all these insane taunt cards (emperor vek'lor, the warrior 2/6 etc), The Black Knight MIGHT see some resurgence which is cool

BK is most certainly back. Tons of value taunts to take out now.

I didn't even consider N'zoth. That could be really insane in a paladin deck that runs Tyrion, Sylvannas, etc

Tyrion, Sylv, Cairn, Corrupted healbot/Looter are all decent in a N'zoth deck. You can even fit it into a Reno deck to slow that shit down even further, it can get pretty insane. Best results I've seen with N'zoth are when you treat it kind of like an Anyfin can happen deck. You don't throw in a shitload of mediocre deathrattles, just 6 or so really strong ones and N'zoth just becomes a crazy win condition.

nzoth deathrattle rogue is pretty insane, it curves out really well with undercity huckster, raptor, tomb pillager, and xaril, you basically never run out of cards. also you run 2x shadowcaster which plays ridiculously well with high-impact deathrattles

CryptoC'thun decks are actually pretty insane.

I tried some of them and maybe they will be competitive, but i find them really boring/not fun to play, i never liked decks where you just slam minions every turns, i think it lack spells interacting with C'thun to be funnier.

I'm trying to refine a Yogg-saron mage i made which is a ton of fun to play if you like heavy control/fatigue style of play, i destroy all these board-centric decks like Evolve/Pokemon shaman, and you can make 20+ spells Yogg-Saron pretty much consistently with it, it's insanely fun! You can also try to get brann to survive one turn freezing the board + the face if you are facing a weapon class and you can get insane 50+ spells Yogg-Saron turn :o)
And it doesn't look too bad at ~rank5+

Here is the list if you want to try/and or refine the deck :

rly like cthun with priest.
Twilight darkmender + brann and all the good removal priest has makes the mirrors super easy cause you can usually have 20+ hp and some fat minions to soak up the dmg

BarytaQShoutouts to Yogg-saron for giving Youtubers enough content to last a lifetime.

If you want to put the hearthstone engine to it's limits, play a casual game with a mate and use lorewalker cho + gang up + brann and drop a bunch of Yoggs - this card is absolutely made for twitch highlight reels

E-thughere i am trying to make a midrange beast hunter and all i meet is cthun priest that fucks me up

just play face hunter my dude, kill the c'thun idiot while he's just playing average minions on curve before he can get his taunts down, easy money

Pretty sure Shaman is the aggro deck of choice. What with double Doomhammer and the 4 mana 7/7.

I'll be playing a yolo Murloc Shaman for funsies when I finish finals.

Warrior control is currently the only hard counter to a c'thun deck, with cards such as grim patron, armorsmith, and, all the other 2-3 drops that trigger on every hit. C'thun is insanely easy to counter. Playing these cards turn 9 will ensure the enemy cant play c'thun effectively. Using your deletion spells sparingly is key. Currently I believe that c'thun warrior isnt gonna take off bc most warrior cards dont syngerize well with the current c'thun decks. However control c'thun priest and druid are in my opinion going to take off. With their great card synergy and ability to stall the game until you draw c'thun. C'thun is insanely fun tho and its ability as your trump card to turn games around is too funny to not use
