Does anyone have any experience with this mouse? Thinking about getting it for the shape but wanna make sure there's no other huge flaws with it.

i have a used FK2 i want to sell. no defects or scratches/marks whatsoever, coating is in excellent shape and i kept the mouse clean from the start. it has stacked feet to lower the LOD a little bit (Tiger Gaming on top of the stock ones).
the mouse is narrow and i just can't grip it comfortably, so it's been shelved :-/
don't have the box anymore.

in case you are (or anyone else is) interested, the hyperglide mouse feet you see are still sealed and would go for less than retail price.

27aus without track & trace, or 37aus with track & trace. :-/
i'd have to sell it to you for too little or you'd have to pay too much. either way it's probably not worth it.

sorry!

just got a Logitech g502 after using a razor naga for 3 years and honestly it's helped my aim improve insanely. it's way more comfortable, it's super light and just everything about it makes me happy I spent the money

G502? super light..? it's one of the heaviest wired mice out there, even with all weights removed..
i can imagine it may feel light compared to the naga however, which is even heavier. but then again the naga is obviously not an FPS mouse.
good choice, though. it's an upgrade in every single way. well, except for super cool MMO buttons.

My self-made 100cm x 70cm mousemat's surface is getting uneven. Can anyone recommend a similiar size mousemat that doesn't cost over 100€ with shipping to Finland?

100euros? is there even a mouse mat that costs that much?

anyway,
corepad has or had a 150x75 one. in case that one's discontinued, they should have a 120x60 still.
mionix sargas 90x40
kingston has a 90x42
razer and corsair have extended pads as well but i think they're "only" 30cm width.
there are probably more brands with extended pads but i can't recall anything close to 100x70. i just took the Corepad one and it's worked fine for me for a few years. it's not as-new anymore, but still works fine.

Does anyone have any advice on changing sensors in mice? Specifically I want to change out the 3310 in an ec1-a for a PMW3366DM-VWOU from a g502. I play on a piece of glass purchased from a local glass shop and the g502 is the only mouse that seems to have no issues tracking even at high speeds but I absolutely love every other aspect of the ec1-a. I did some google searching and couldn't really find much. Is it possible/is it as simple as re soldering the new sensor in/will the zowie internals work with the 3366 or do I need to move the whole board over?

no it certainly will not work like that.. entire PCBs and firmwares are made specifically for the sensor that's on it.

one thing that people sometimes do, however, is just try to make the entire PCB fit in the shell they want to use.
they often use dremels, hotglue, tape etc to make it all fit and stick. usually dubbed "frankenmouse".
i think that's gonna be your only shot, so i hope you have some tools and crafting skills :-)

here's an example of a G303 PCB inside a G100s shell: http://drok-radnik.com/junk/g100s_g303_mod/

Can I get Corepad somewhere else other than the local retailers I can find from Corepad's website? Those Finnish retailers don't sell them anymore.

x3Anyone is using Zowie EC2-A?

I actually went from a g400s to a FK1 to a EC2-A (latest benq version) that I currently use.

I like the shape, weight, and L/R mouse clicks of the EC2-A better than the g400s. The EC2-A is slightly smaller and has a better ergonomic shape (IMO). The g400s def has a better scroll wheel and side buttons tho, even after the improvements benq made to the scroll wheel. The EC2-A has a much smoother coating than the g400s. I preferred the coating of the FK1 to all 3.

Overall I like the EC2-A better than the g400s but this is obviously going to be preference. I really do like the EC2-A but Im not completely satisfied with it. So I will be getting a DM1 Pro and Nixeus Revel when they come out at the end of the month to see if to see if I like those better. Maybe check out the reviews on those before going for the EC2-A.

Thanks for the reply.

I will look into DM1 Pro since it's 39.99, which is half the price of the EC2-A here in Canada land.

Cheers.

I've been using the 2013 death adder for the last 3-4 months or so and it's been working well but now the scroll wheel has broken off and im looking to get another mouse. At first I was deciding on getting a fk2 at first but I did some research and there's a lot of good things to be said of the ec2-a, and I would like to know which of the two mice are the best for playing mostly tf2 and cs:go?

Both are really good mouses and will perform excellently in TF2 or CS. It pretty much comes down to your grip style. The shape of the EC2-A is closer to the DA's shape than the FK2's shape, but if you use claw grip or even fingertip grip, the FK2 could suit your needs. Check out the bigger versions as well, the EC1-A and FK1, as your hand size is also an important factor in choosing your mouse.

In a nutshell, the EC2-A is the safest choice imo, but the FK2 could be better if you use claw grip. Then again, coming from a DA, the FK2's size might be an issue if you got big hands, so the FK1 would be the better choice.

Ah when I got my deathadder I was used to using fingertip grip to compensate for the size of the mouse. My hand measurements are about 18cm by 8.7cm so would you say that would be too large for fingertip gripping on the fk2 since its more suited towards that grip style?

Anybody know where you can still buy a real WMO?

e.g. are the ones from LIKETECH on newegg (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16826105099) authentic, or do you know a good ebay seller?

Im looking for a replacement mouse for Zowie FK1, the scrollwheel occasionally just doesnt work and m1 is starting to sound mushy.

Any ideas?
Has to be able to plug n play, i don't want any drivers
Taller than FK1, my thumb is always touching m4 resulting in accidental clicks
Better m1 and scrollwheel, i hear at least the scrollwheel is a pretty typical problem.
