Off-sync aim?

Hello, I play Scout and it seems that ever since the beginning of the week I cannot aim as I was able to before. I'm missing most of my shots now for some reason. It's starting to pester me because I do not see a reason why I suddenly cannot aim anymore. I have not changed my sens, rig, or anything else, so it really puzzles me. Any help would be appreciated!

warming up makes a huge different for me. for me a good warm up consists of 20 minutes of no splash and dm.

I always warm up before games. I feel the exact same way as you do. But even so, ever since the beginning of this week, something just feels wrong and I cannot aim like I used to. :(

A lot of newer players have the problem of burning themselves out by warming up to much. Honestly 5 min in DM and you should be ready to go anything over 30 and you're risking it. Other than that just continue to play and with time you will get more consistent.

Happened to me too when I started playing scout. It happens less often the more you play, but it takes a long time to stop.

Sorry for not being specific. My warmup usually lasts only a few minutes (never more than one map of dm). I understand where you're going at, though. Also, I'm not new O.o

Oh. Wish I found a way to break out of it though. :(

its pretty common to have a mini-slump. i would recommend taking a day or 2 off when you guys aren't scrimming, it's probably all mental

Turn off your crosshair and then play some DM for 15 minutes. Its pretty fun and it probably helps your aim by forcing you to memorize where the center of your screen is.

YES I AM TALKING OUT OF MY ASS

there is a lot of dumb threads on this site but I see no problem with this one, dave. he isn't asking for a good sens, how 2 aim, ORIGINAL OR STOCK. just wondering how to get out of his slump, which i'm sure happens to most of us at some point :/

also remember to have your sensitivity tuned to being warmed up and not when you're cold. It will be different. Also, have you cleaned your mouse sensor and pad lately?

Yeah, it's mental.. your brain kinda 'gets used' to specific situations ingame, what impairs your attention and make you unable to concentrate like you would want to. A break like recommended above is an easy solution, but try to exercise your attention (if you don't want to leave TF2 try surfin/jump/off-class pub) and it will become less frequent.

you could just be playing the game too much. your profile is private so I can't tell.

i play other games, or off class pub. or just take a break. sometimes i just keep going at it, and it works after awhile of some dm'ing/mge'ing
